Absolutely stunning property in the Peak District for such amazing value! Lovely room with a comfy bed and a modern bathroom with great shower. The room was spacious and decorated so nice! It felt cozy and luxurious. We loved the breakfast that was included with our stay. You could tell everything was made with love. Bonus that the food was all sourced from local farms in the area. Such an amazing value for a really unique experience. The property manager was kind, helpful, and check-in/ out was so easy! The property was in close proximity to Chatsworth house. Must stay location in the Peak District.
We only had one night to stay before our tour at Chatsworth, and I’m thrilled my search led me to this b&b. The rooms are cozy and beautiful, the food is delicious, the hosts are so inviting and kind, and the grounds are lovely. I 100% would stay again—and so happily! Thank you for a great stay!Rooms: 5/5
We visited Robin Hood Farm B&B on a last minute break and booked on the day, not knowing what to expect. After a day at the Monsal Trail we checked into the B&B with our puppy Buddy. The room was really nice with a lovely view of the Peak District and the bathroom with amazing. There was a private garden area for our dog to go out. The highlight was having the breakfast delivered to our room in the morning! We would love to come back, we really felt we dropped on a good one!
Myself and my partner stayed in Curbars Gap for 3 nights. The room was beautifully presented and clean with its own patio doors out to the garden. This could be used as an entrance/exit as an alternative to going downstairs. The bed was incredibly comfy and the en suite shower room was perfect. Breakfast was exceptional with so many choices and catering well for vegans/veggies. The produce was all local and of the highest quality. Lovely extra touches such as free homemade cakes and beers/soft drinks to help yourself to made the stay feel even more special. This was an important break away for us before 2 become 3 and we couldn’t have chosen as better place for it!
Quality b+b . Great location , walks from the door and a pub within 100 m . Our dog friendly room was nicely decorated and furnished with a high quality on suite . Large glazed French doors lead out to your own garden and decked area with table and chairs . The breakfast menu is extensive and the food is excellent with the option of dining in your own room or in the dining room . A variety of tasty homemade cakes are offered as are soft drinks, free of charge and help yourself! The couple who run the accomadation are friendly and helpfull . An excellent place to stay Walkability: The start of "Birchen edge" walk starts from just next to your own little private garden !
We had Such a lovely time whilst staying here ,cake and beer on arrival you can walk out the back straight up to birchin edge lovely walk . The room was lovely Al facilities were great . Top breakfast. If I had one niggle. It needs an up to date TV, if the weather is that bad out that you have to stay in people like the option to stream netflix and such like. That is my only niggle other than that loved it. Great hosts also.
Can't rate this place highly enough. My partner and I came to visit for a two night stay in between Christmas and New year. Such a lovely place. Registered online so when we arrived merely had to collect our keys. Upon arrival there was a plate of orange cake, chocolate brownies and mince pies with a message to help yourself. We saw ourselves to our room. Everything was clean and tidy. And the room was beautifully decorated with the bathroom and toilet fully tiled and being a high quality finish. Met Chris and Caroline the owners over the course of our stay. Lovely couple. Breakfast requested by filling out a form the night before and there was so much choice. It was delicious. During our stay my partner Ginette and I got engaged in Bakewell. This was mentioned to the owners and the two other couples who were staying and everyone was so friendly. Can't wait to go back.
Beautiful place nestled in the lovely landscape of Baslow Peak District. We stayed in the Birchen room-patio doors open to a private little garden! You could never tire of this view! Lots of complimentary extra's! Breakfast is great local sourced quality ingredients! Lovely place...already looking to book another visit! Nearby activities: Lots to do near here within a short drive. Walkability: Birchen hedge is a short walk from here. Food & drinks: The Robin Hood public house has the best Chef in the Peak district. The food is faultless. A 1 minute walk from the room across the carpark and youre there!
We had a lovely stay in the dog friendly room Curbar gap. There were doors onto the garden which meant we could go straight in and out of our room with our 2 dogs. Everything is thought of from cake on arrival for us to dog treats for the pets. Everything is high quality and all the little details made it a very special stay. It was everything I hoped for and more. A relaxing and friendly atmosphere. I went for a walk through the garden and up to birchen edge. I can imagine this is lovely in the summer. Great to have walks from the door. Thank you for making us all feel so welcome we can't recommend you enough.
Great hosts in a lovely building close to lots that the peak district has to offer. Very comfortable room with small outdoor seating area and garden. Nice shower/wet room. Very good breakfast lots of choice pre booked the evening before. Nice touches like home made cakes to help yourself to, a fridge with water, soft drinks and bottled lager and a water cooler near the rooms with a vast array of cordials available. Next door to the Robin Hood pub where you get 10% discount on food. All in all a great stay. Would recommend
