Lovely park, really well kept and absolutely stunning surroundings. Brilliant childrens play area with sand, boat, zip wire and more. Canal with ice cream boat, lovely walk, historical features and plenty of picnic space. There is also a lovely pub and restaurant to have a spot of lunch or Sunday dinner, with scenic views and cafe. Lots of places to play ball games or just sit in the sun. Road train rides cash only £3pp. Highly recommended family park. Playground: Zip wire, sand, boat, swings, climbing , slides and more Restrooms: Nice toilets Dog-friendliness: Lots of bins for dog bags. Lovely walking areas. Picnic area: Lots of benches, fields, steps to have a spot of lunch with lots of bins. Ice cream van on entrance to playarea which takes card payments and cash.
This is a small park within the Saltaire village. The location of this park is ideal, next to the River Aire. There is a cafe in this park in the pavilion overlooking the field. Not too far away, you can go for a stroll along the canal and explore the Salts Mill and 1873 art gallery.
Visiting during the boat race festival , relaxing lots of activities for children and amazing selection of food.
Lovely walk by the canal then over to the cafe for a sit and a cuppa watching cricket. Toilet available. Dog friendly. Ice cream barge on the canal.
Great place for adults and kids, especially through the summer holidays! The grounds are well kept, and the play area is great fun. There's everything you can think of, including a zip wire! There's a cafe for coffee and ice creams etc, what more could you want. Tip for parents.... the ice cream van only takes cash, so if you want to pay by card, then walk to the little cafe on the grounds as they do really nice ice cream there anyway!
Great little park with an excellent cafe, half-moon. Stunning view of the river with plenty of wildlife. It's good for the kids to run around and plenty of activities. Plus, dogs are allowed. A pleasant family location.
Absolutely fantastic walk for the family even on a wet day park is lovely and clean and great for young siblings too plenty of parking available around the park a hidden gem in saltaire if you don't know it's there
Lovely park. Right next to the river & canal so Lovely walks outside of the park as well. Also next to Salts Mill & Saltaire. Children's play area & skate park. Park is very clean and tidy and well kept. Definitely worth a visit. Statue of Titus Salt who founded Saltaire.
Beautiful park. Perfect for families, pets and kids. Playground: A massive playground in the park itself with a skatepark. Restrooms: I dont think there are many restrooms. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed everywhere. Picnic area: There are lots of picnic areas and one right next to the playground.
Nice park, good little stroll Quick note, entrance is opposite the car park, not the gate in the car park.
