Quality of bread has gone down substantially since last summer. Used to be so soft. Its dry as soon as you open the bag you see how dry it is particularly down the side. Totally unacceptable and they say its due to using old equipment at another site due to a fire at previous location. That shouldn't compromise on quality though.nThere is no proper quality control clearly!
Used to be amazing bread which was the softest and lasted long. Bought it for the past 12 years, however the past couple weeks the bread feels already stale when it's only just been bought. High suspicions of some high up jobs worth manager trying to cut costs and maximise profits. Will not be adding the usual 2 loaves to next week's order and probably won't buy or recommend again.
It's not even cooked any more it's like dough and it's become uneatable.. Its raw.. Used to only buy this bread now I avoid it.
Don't know about their bread but if it anything like hgv drivers delivery to Rushden.nThen I refused to buy it.nGot dash cam footage of hgv driver pulling out asda not looking nearly hit our car then continuing to driver dangerous swerving between lanes in front of us. We have there reg we will be taking it further
just to let people know if you not already buying this bread then you don't know what you missing. it wonderfull fresh and tasty and also freezes great like fresh bread when you defrost and keeps for ages. the best ever bread
