Usually good service but recently I had a negative experience. Robert Dyas have an electrical recycling scheme if you buy a new item, so I took my old item to store, and the assistant didn't know much about about it and took a long time to complete the details - not a problem, but she twice had to ask the manager for help and he was not very pleasant about it at all, clearly didn't want to be involved with it, and although he spoke to the assistant and not directly to me he came across as very rude and very unfriendly in the words he used, his tone of voice and body language. A very bad representative for the company and can't be very nice to have to work for him.

Thank you to a lovely lad with long fair hair who carried my items to my car and went back for the other one. So warm friendly and polite. Deserves to go far.

I prefer to use the local independent hardware store but if I have to go to RD the incessant ‘would you like some X or Y for Z?’ at the checkout is SO annoying! Cease & desist please !

Always been such a helpful and friendly shop although we live in Basingstoke we always travel to Fleet but oh dear what a shame NEW jobsworth manager, no doubt he will ruin the shop,

Large range of useful and necessary products. Not the best wheelchair access due to displays and narrow aisles.

Great customer service,even took all my shopping to the car for me.
