Up there with some of the best record shops I've been in. A sheer abundance of second hand records, a crate diggers paradise. So reasonably priced. You could go here and build an instant collection without breaking the bank. Came over from Ireland and picked up about 35 records for £120. All in great condition and the owner Rob is very nice and knowledgeable as well. Don't let the cramped conditions put you off, the place is laced with gems.
It is the strangest vinyl experience ever. Hyper untidy hard to get in and out but some decent items at a decent price. The picture is real as of most of the shop/stock is inaccessible yet I still enjoyed the hour plus I was there. 1st time meeting Rob, and he was friendly and helpful. If it was tidy would have definitely given 5 stars.
Awesome place. Spent an hour in there this morning sifting through vinyl. Memories of being 18 again on a Saturday! Great find. Will be back soon. Rob is a lovely guy. Came away with 5 brilliant finds!
Gotta love Rob's. Wash your hands on the way out, BUT, go in without an agenda and you'll always find some gold on his 'shelves'. Bit of a local legend.
Robs Records is an experience. The place is packed end to end, top to bottom with second hand vinyl, with a smattering of CDs. Spend an hour sifting through the racks of records, who knows what you'll find?
It's a proper old jumble, but if you search hard, you can find some rare gems.
Probably one of the few places in the country where you can find a good copy of items I found on a single visit today: - Beatles Hard Days Night - Eagles Hotel California - Bob Dylan Blonde on Blonde - Leonard Cohen debut All legit original pressings, and only get charged £10 a piece.
Easily the best proper record shop on planet earth.
