A hidden gem! Stopped into Gannets for lunch and it was certainly not disappointing! The menu has so much choice plus delicious specials. I opted for the half soup half sandwich and devoured the lot! There was also a variety of cakes and bakes on display, I made sure to take-away a couple of the loaded brownies. Can’t wait until my next venture up Aberdeen way, I’ll be sure to stop in at Gannets!
Gannets is a great place to grab breakfast, lunch and the most amazing freshly baked goodies. Freshly cooked, locally sourced and a great selection. When you pop in check for the carrot cake, it's won awards!!
Incredible Veggie breakfast, super friendly staff, and really cosy inside and nice selections of jams and preserves, as-well as fresh cakes which look incredible. Definitely recommend and very decently priced. Thanks!
Had the Nutella GF cupcake. Moist. Amazing frosting. Delicious. Followed that with one of the many natural fruit sodas and an Americano and finally, the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was warm and flavorful, the eggs perfectly poached and the toast from a giant, but light loaf of bread. The staff is more than welcoming and keen. This place is fantastic!!!
Absolutely delicious meals that were well priced - the service was alarming very friendly. Would definitely recommend - we had the festive burger, the soup and half sandwich and the veggie Christmas bagel. The festive sticky toffee french toast was amazingly good. Vegetarian options: A good choice and seriously tasty.

I had the 4 stack pancakes bacon & maple syrup. Absolutely gorgeous. Friend had breakfast & one had the veggie bagel. All thoroughly enjoyed. And really friendly lovely staff. Top notch!!!Food: 5/5
Friendly welcoming staff, delicious and originel menu with lots to come back and try next time! Homely atmosphere but quite cold, had to keep coats on. Although we are having a cold/snowy snap and expensive heating.. Cakes all very generous sizes so easily shared if you wanted to! and look all so tempting with their decoration. What a lovely place! We came from stonehaven..
Had our first visit today, alll the food was amazing, tasted really fresh and full of flavour. Atmosphere and decor is lovely, as are the staff. Will definitely be making regular visits.
I'd been following Gannets on Instagram and finally was able to visit. They did not disappoint! Tiny café, so be warned you might not get in. Really friendly and welcoming start serving up some astonishingly good food. From massive delicious combinations for sandwiches, to gooey pancake stacks to the cakes and bakes so frequently featured on their Instagram-- you will leave stuffed full of yummy. Definitely a return visit location. Vegetarian options: Good veggie options all round. Kid-friendliness: So much deliciousness for clearly welcomed kid guests
