Visited Roaches Lock today a party of 10 ..A lovely warm welcome and the perfect Sunday vibes!.. Was clear to see they was struggling with getting a good up front team. Will try again simply because I could see the management were trying.. the vibes and decor were perfect and the food was spot on! Service wasn't the best despite pre ordering but I was impressed enough to try again. See you soon xx

Went today 30/10/22 for Sunday dinner. Food is great however the service is shocking. Had to go to the bar to request our empty plates be moved and request a dessert menu and once again we were left till we ended up going to the bar to pay without having a dessert. We told the lady who took our payment and clearly zero interest and no apology, to many lovely places to eat nearby will not return.
Lovely place, friendly staff, good food. Would have been 5 stars, but had to wait over an hour for food, with no reason for the delay. They did kindly off us a free drink whilst waiting. Food: 5/5
Very cosy, traditional pub. Separate dining area. Good outside seating area by the River Tame. We only had a couple of drinks of drinks there, but definitely coming back to try the food. Good atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Been here a few times in the past and always enjoyed it. The food was absolutely delicious I had the 3 cheese and onion pie. Mmmmmm, but the overall experience was let down by the very slow service which was even more strange as there were not many other diners there. A few visits to the table to check we were ok or update us on our order would have been nice. As it was, it took about an hour to get food, which would have felt longer if we hadn't been meeting old friends for a chat. I would try again as they may have been having an off day after Xmas. It's a very cosy, picturesque little pub and the food is top notch kids options too!.

We usually eat here all the time as the food is usually banging and it’s dog friendly. but the last time we ate here the food wasn’t at all how it has been previous. Steak was practically raw when asked for welldone, peppercorn sauce was completely full of oil. Onion rings was completely raw. Most of the food was left which is disappointing. My 17 month old baby has been severely poorly since eating here. Defo will not be returning again which really is a shame as it’s a really nice pub.
The food here is excellent, good menu choice, good portion size. Not the best service, staff not very attentive. Bit surprised when we were leaving to see some people and staff sat around the bar eating Macdonald's takeaway.Food: 4/5
