Brilliant fun for kids and super informative for adults. Interactive crew training, video demo and cool photo box. Loads of gifts with lovely staff.
I volunteer in the shop- we have a friendly helpful bunch of volunteers keen to explain the need for everyone to "respect the water". We have a D class inshore lifeboat in the visitor centre and plenty of RNLI clothes for the children to dress up and and pretend to be crew. We also sell various useful items including Christmas cards.

Excellent shop with a D class boat inside
One for the RNLI supporters! Helpful people and a pretty good range of RNLI merchandise. Use this place and support a life-saving charity manned by people who put their own lives at risk. My only gripe is that it has limited opening times. Check it's open and visit.
Really friendly staff and RNLI volunteers who put their lives on the line on a daily basis. Support them as much as possible. You never know when you may need them!
Little shop with a detailed model of one of their lifeboats and a few videos to watch, always a great place to visit whilst in Dartmouth!
Small museum that gives you an insight into the heroic moments of the lifeboat crews over the centuries and the sort of equipment they had at hand.
Never know when you might need them. Support them generously as they provide an excellent service, not caring about what dangerous situations they may encounter
Great place for kids to sit in a lifeboat lots of activities for them to do as well
