I love this place! It reminds me of my childhood but not just the smell or the look of the shop: it has the feeling of a family-run business with old-fashioned courtesy. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful and it feels like a happy place to work. And they have EVERYTHING! If you need something - a tool, a gadget, that thing you don't know the name of but need to finish off whatever you're doing - go here and I promise they'll have it. It's another Bridport treasure, like Groves, Burwoods, Animal House, Battens, and The Book Shop: long may they all flourish!

I love this shop! Every time I visit Bridport I have to pop in! A real traditional hardware store that has everything piled up and knowledgeable staff ready to help you find exactly what you need. It's always busy in there, but there are plenty of staff around, all of whom are more than happy to spend the time and help you out.

It's really nice to have a local hardware shop where you can get advice on whatever project you're working on. I've always been able to get whatever I need at a reasonable price.
