Having known Robert Twigg professionally, as my accountant, for what must be more than twenty years, I have to say he has been an invaluable asset to me and also to two other members of my family who also use his professional services. We have found him eminently suitable as our accountant due to his easily-approachable nature and his very supportive manner when we have had new ideas we've wished to discuss. He always makes his extensive knowledge freely available during consultations by telephone or face-to-face as he has done for us, so as to provide the most helpful and appropriate advice. We’ve found his broad knowledge of business and family finances very useful and would say that it’s always worth having a chat with him if you have questions about financial matters that may affect you. If accountant's fees are something you need to think about and like to feel in control of, then we can say that Robert has always been more-than-worth his fees, which in themselves are very fair, and we've never had cause to query that aspect of our relationship. The three of us agree that, without doubt, Robert has been a most valuable part of the business team, whether that be for everyday accountancy services, more adventurous diversification plans or someone to bounce business ideas off during a consultation over a cup of coffee! Mr Twigg has been completing my accounts, tax returns and any queries raised by HMRC since since 2005. He made me a promise at the time to do everything he could to have my accounts ready by the middle of June each year and submitted to the tax office shortly after. I had had problems with a previous accounts firm which in some years telephoned me on the 30th January to get me to collect and sign my accounts before submitting them myself. Mr Twigg has kept to his word and I have never had to worry about my tax affairs since he took over my accounts. I have found him easy to contact, always polite and courteous. I am supplied with a clear copy of my balance sheets and he takes the time to explain any questions that i might have.
