Not a bad place to stay in Weymouth. The room was very small but it was a single and that is to be expected. The building looks stunning lit up from a distance however when walking around the exterior to the rooms you do notice what a shoddy state it’s in with paint peeling from the walls. The room was clean and tidy, perfectly fine, no complaints. The WiFi was completely unusable, as someone in the industry I can say it was installed as cheaply as possible. 4G was not great in the area but enough for email. The full English breakfast was good! Only the mushrooms were a strange soggy texture, maybe tinned? Other than that sets you up for a good day of work.

Always jad a good stay. Clean rooms and welcoming staff. Nice long walk along the beach into town. Check my pictures out for reference.

Lovely old building in a lovely location. Rooms nice inside but looks weather worn outside. Once refurbished it will be really nice. Hopefully the prices won't rocket!

After staying one night I know why location is Jurassic Coast as bed was the noisiest hotel bed I have ever used - like a dinosaur's roar. I was ashamed to move as the neighbours would hear it was so loud. I cannot over estimate how loud this bed was with every slight movement or readjustment in bed!!! Room was extremely bad design as to get to other side of bed you had to side step /crab walk to get past bed and radiator, so tight I gave up trying to get round. Also wardrobe in room useless as you could not open doors fully and having a mirror and desk was pointless as trying to get to it I bashed my shins. Bed was very low (small hand luggage suitcase in photo to help size) and as mentioned it was a bash of shins every time with about a 20cm gap. And not to mention mattress too small for bed. Bathroom seemed new and worked OK, so other bit seemed to disappointment so much more. Breakfast was extremely bland and uninspiring. Such as a real shame as the uniqueness and retro 30s feel of the place made it seem so interesting with a real potential for a great experience, but a real let down.

Not the right time of year to visit. Have to go outside to get from room to main building. Very few guests so no atmosphere. Breakfast great. Room small and overcrowded with too much furniture but still warm and comfortable. A bit more attention needs to be given to housekeeping especially in the bathroom.
