absolutely horrific service ! Been with them for 2 years seen a doctor once! Doctor Blainy will do anything to avoid dealing with her patients especially the ones asking for help ! My gp told me I couldn’t have my meds she gave me for panic attacks due to asthma and have phoned them over 7 times to get a replacement over a 3 month period all the while panic attacking getting worse having to explain every-time ,I am still waiting on an appointment or a phone call ! This is me lots better than what I was and able to deal with them a bit better now but when I was at my worse and begging for help I was treated as Being over-emotional and only made me feel more worthless ! I honestly fear for others who come to them begging for help already struggling mentally! It’s massively triggering when people start asking for help finally to be shut down. So if you want worse mental health and an even lower self worth here is your place
Traumatised and horrified at the level or lack of care received from Riverview Mental Health Crisis team and Dr Puri. They were responsible for a member of family who was struggling and after a year of upping medication, refusing to speak to family not to give any information but to receive vital information our story has a tragic ending. I am really sad to say that I have witnessed failings every step of the way. The staff were extremely young and inexperienced. I would urge anyone receiving inadequate care from the Riverview crisis team and Dr Puri to speak up and seek alternative support if possible. I
Incompetence from top to bottom, cpns constantly off sick and no one to cover, Dr puri put me on trial medication and upped it for months without checking weight, heart rate or blood pressure and continued to up the dosage without seeing me. Over the last 18 months I've be involved with the 'service', they do not want to help! If you challenge anything they say, they hang up and put you down as not engaging. If you swear they hang up. The one star is for Kate Conway who unfortunately left Kate showed integrity, compassion and was honest everytime we spoke. She kept appointments, would call back when she said she would and she kept her word. When/if you are in crisis the duty worker decides if it's an emergency, the duty worker who hasn't met or spoke to you before decides that you're not enough of an emergency and hangs up. A lot of my earlier calls have been recorded.
I have been with the mental health team for years, the CPN'S are always on leave, holiday or sick, iv been waiting on a new CPN since October 2022, the crisis team can't wait to get you if the phone as quickly as possible, the are responsible for many deaths in the west Dunbartonshire. They collect big wages for doing absolutely nothing to help people, I think they should be investigated by the police for gross neglect to there clients and I'm one who's been ignored and discarded. No compassion or understand of there clients
