An absolute delight discovery with superbly prepared cod. Ample chips to accompany and a great introductory chat with the proprietor Tim. Regular visits are on the cards.Food: 5/5
Just popped in for two bags of chips, likeable chap on his own, very friendly. Chips were good size, reasonably tasty Will pop in again if coming through Maiden Newton!
Really appreciated the the proprietor. Very friendly with plenty of dry humour to share. The fish and chips were good. Possibly not the most amazing in England but good nevertheless. Prices were really reasonable. They have an interesting mix of other things on the menu including a veggie burger and a pea fritter. You have to be clever to figure out a place to stop your car for a few moments and run in.
