Yet again spent an entirety on hold only for them to put me through listening to a conversation in the background and after 10-15 seconds hang up on me. Last time I asked for an appointment for a shoulder injury the receptionist said maybe I should try a physio... Awful sometimes
The service at this practice has deteriorated considerably over the last few years . As a teacher I really need the occasional appointments I have to be late in the day or during school holidays . It seems no appointments can be made more than a couple of weeks in advance and rarely available after 6 . If I have time off work for medical appts the cost of cover for half a day can be over £100 and ultimately this cost comes from the tax payer and pupils are adversely affected . As a teacher I can’t and don’t want to take time off anytime I need to . Why can’t I make advance appointments during my school holiday periods ?
Front staff are poorly trained. I find myself repeatedly calling or requesting the same information until it's eventually escalated to someone who knows the correct information. GPs have always been helpful though.
Efficient friendly and supportive service whenever I visit the surgery. Staff always have time for you, treat you with respect and seem genuinely interested in helping you. I had all my COVID jabs and boosters here and despite the pressures they were under, everyone at the Surgery was both polite and efficient. Thank you.
I wouldn't bother making appointments or ordering repeat prescription at this doctors, I have mental health problems. The doctors don't care about you as patient your just a number to them. plus the staff are mentally challenged
Yet again my experience of this surgery is nothing but dreadful. The bad attitude of the reception staff is palpable… Looking at the reviews on this site, the NHS review site, Facebook and another areas on Google, you would think that the practice manager would by now have a grip on what’s going on in there. Note to the practice manager: Start by reminding your receptionists they are not doing your patients a favour they are there to do a job and patient care should start at the Practice doors. How this place is still functioning is beyond me! Bitterly disappointed by Riverside surgery and will be leaving the practice as soon as possible.
Leaving this place it's dreadful called up today about my throat closing up when am swolling got told to ring back in the morning after 8 or ring 111 after 1830 definitely be changing doctors this place is an absolute joke
I moved from my old doctors practice as I could never get an appointment on the ‘same day’ system. The receptionists are very helpful and all extremely polite. I have seen three doctors, the nurse and the pharmacist and everyone has been brilliant. I felt well looked after and very well treated.
I wanted my repeat prescription , and check it was in stock. I couldn’t order on line and there is no dedicated line to the pharmacy… so I was 18th in line as I had to wait for people booking appointments etc. This took me 43 minutes! 43 minutes to talk to the pharmacy… a new updated surgery with one phone number for all your needs absolutely ridiculous. Poor service? through no fault of the people working there JUST BAD MANAGEMENT…
Absolutely shocking service rude never get an appointment when you want one if your ill you need to be clairvoyant so you can book in advance to see a doctor so you can actually be seen why your ill
