Pleasant place for walking , though fly tipping happens frequently.

Nice peaceful place to visit plenty of space for dogs to run around and the fishing is good, there are also places to park cars

Hidden away this is small but you can walk along Hadrian's way to the east or west for miles. Heading east takes all the way to Wallsend and segedunum the old Roman ruins and walking to the west takes you along past saint Peter's marina and along to Newcastle quayside. Not a very busy route and park but lovely in the summer.
