Stumbled upon this gem after Googling Indian restaurants near me while my wife and I were staying at nearby Burcott Mill. Lovely, contemporary and clean environment. They kept their covid safety discreet and waiters were wearing masks. But this did not detract from the excellent service we received, from the amazing professionalism of a friendly and attentive waiter called Dave, who is an absolute legend, to prompt and courteous service from the kitchen and servers. We had the Kings platter for starters which was delicious and plenty full. It could have done with being a bit warmer but we enjoyed it. The mains again were good portions, they were served perfectly heated, and delicious. The nan breads were great! Crispy outside but warm and fluffy in the middle. Great service, great food, lovely decor and atmosphere.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing service but by far the best thing is the food! Just sublime from start to finish. Would recommend this place to anyone who is after a good Indian. Great that they also offer takeaway and prices are standard for Indian. Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options available
Not exactly sure about the fusion bit, but a really nice Indian restaurant! Everything we ordered was well presented and tasted great. The banquet on Sunday nights has limited options, but still plenty and it's a really good deal. We're vegan and had to make sure we got the waiter who knew what was what. Will we go back? Definitely!
Had takeaway for the first time tonight and we will be going back for sure! The restaurant is clean and comfortable with plenty of outside seating as well, right by a river! The pakora and chicken satay starters were delicious. The poppadom chutnies were really good, a little different to normal! Meat quality is excellent and the sauces had plenty of flavour. Also really enjoyed the fried rice. They do a banquet deal on Wednesday and Sunday evenings which looks like excellent value. Plenty of parking. We had a 20 minute car ride home and food was still hot on getting back.
Delivery was speedy but unfortunately the food was well below par. Although delivered at a good temperature, the food seems as though the curry sauces are pre-bought. My partner and I had a korma and a madras and unfortunately they both fell flat with a consistency of a watered down pasta sauce with some chunks of chicken thrown in. Weak in colour and flavour all round. When you spend this sort of money, you at least expect decent food that's made properly in house. If this was made from scratch and in house, I would suggest a change of kitchen staff or recipes. Will not be returning.
Amazing food as always! Worth the visit if your near. Staff and service is friendly. We visited on a Thursday this time and although not full still had people in and lots of takeaways I think this this speakes for its self.Food: 5/5
Brilliant food, well presented, very tasty, great value and superb service. Its been a long time since I have had such a good Indian meal in a restaurant. Would definately recommend.
Amazing!!!! I loved this place so much. The food was brilliant, couldn't fault it at all, the portion sizes were amazing and food was served quickly with hardly a wait. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. You get a lot for your money. Need to find an Indian like this closer to home for sure! Would love to go back.
Visited after day out. Myself and wife went for Wednesday Banquet. The food was absolutely delicious, couldn't fault it. Wife had a different main to me which looked similar to mine but tasted very much different, mine also a lot spicer. Well presented with plenty flavour. Staff were very friendly and regularly checked if all was okay. The property was clean and tidy only suggestion is maybe need to update the carpet as looking little tired. Besides this will be visiting often to try out different meals. Prices also very reasonable for the quality of food.
Only had a takeaway for New Year's Eve ordered online and only 5 minutes wait should have had a beer while waiting. The staff are very friendly and for some reason amused by by my surname if only they knew. The food was top notch! No fillers like more peppers than meat, l would definitely order double rice next time. Parking: Easy parking
