The Riverside Coffee Shop offer a really good range of savoury and sweet options with something to excite the taste buds. Although the menu is entirely vegetarian, the absence of meat isn't noticeable as the flavours are so good.nnSalads are fresh and vibrant, brunch and lunch dishes are imaginative and flavourful. The breakfast burritos are just THE BEST and well worth a return visit. Cakes and desserts are delicious nnAs the name suggests, the restaurant sits on the banks of the river and although just off the town centre, it feels a world away. Customers also benefit from limited off road parking, which is really useful.nnThe owner and staff are super friendly and dogs are welcome in the external dining area nnAll in all, this is a great place to meet family and friends, ideally again and again
Absolute gem of a place, arrived as a large table without pressure booking with four dogs and two small children and everyone was warmly welcomed.nBrilliant idea to have the seating area raised up and to have a cute little play area for this kids.nMenu is clearly labelled with lots of vegan and gluten free options in combo.nMirko is a brilliant warm and welcoming personality, who keeps everyone laughing and happy.nThe food was beautifully presented and the flavours were incredible Radhika has such immense skills with flavour pairings.nRain was friendly, kind and super efficient too.nWe will be shouting about this place and will be back anytime we visit the area.
What a fantastic little find on our walk! Really enjoyed eating lunch on their riverside veranda. My partner really enjoyed his cheese and chutney toastie, and I thought the halloumi salad plate was delicious and very generous. We also shared some delicious homemade chips. Our waitress was very friendly and thoughtful and the price of the meal was very reasonable. Toilets were clean. Cakes also looked delicious although we didn't get a chance to try them on this occasion. Will have to return!
Great vegan cafe in a great location with private parking. Dog/pet friendly. We had vegan breakfasts which were delicious and served quite quickly considering how busy they were. The coffee ended up all over our table when brought over but the waitress was prompt to clean the table. A very enjoyable experience!
Great spot if you’re vegan or vegetarian. For the prices, you get a lot of food. I got the falafel main, but ended up trading with someone for the quiche of the day which was just amazing. It was mango, mushroom, and something else but I absolutely loved it, flavorful with a crunchy pasty exterior. There’s also a playground right next to the restaurant so it’s great for kids!
