Highly recommend to anyone looking to have some fun bowling, playing in the arcades or a few games of pool. We also really enjoyed the food. The pizzas and chips we had tasted amazing! The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. Will definitely be back!
Went for a kids party. Good lanes with plenty of space for our group. This place has been here for years and went myself for a party when I was a kid and it seems little has changed, which is a good thing! Great fast and friendly service. Although I didn't get any food or drink, there were plenty of options. Parking in their own car park and plenty of other currently free parking spots around. Also, not far from the bus stops and train station.

We booked a party here for my daughters bday. Put a deposit down and they wrote my email down incorrectly. Fine. My email is long. I corrected it twice and they had my phone number. They did not get in touch with me again. I had to chase them to sort everything. After correcting my email for a third time. I was told the person run the party was double booked. I was told the party was 11 -1 which it was not. I originally paid more so the kids could get a free bowl at another date. They changed this, and did not tell me. My husband popped the the shop and I said we will pay as soon as he is back. I was asked a further two times as the party planner said the manager is wanting me to pay now!!! That was the only thing they chased up!!! Everything else was me. The food, I was not expecting much and majority of it wad ok. The burgers were terrible and a lot of the children did not eat them. They were dry and inedible. There was no juice on the tables. I chased this. Eventually got juice. The cake was cut and they had no napkins and a few pieces of blue roll. When we got the break down for the party they charge £14 for cordial!!!!! Was very poor communication, the staff were all standing complaining and moaning. Which a part of me could understand if their anger is double booking them!!! They changed the party and what you got after I booked it and didn't say anything. It was just terrible. It cost £250 for 15 children. It would be cheaper to not book a party and would not recommend!!! The kids did not care obviously. They had a blast but, I felt like I ran around for the them. Terrible!!!! People were bringing bottles of pop from the shop because they charge £3.20 for a small Pepsi. Ranting now but just wouldn't recommend....
There's so much to do in here! The bowling was so fun, the food is great and the staff are lovely. We also had a go on the games they have, and there's a lovely outside area as well. Highly recommend!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
I don't generally leave Google reviews but I had to share our experience of Riverside bowl on Friday. I visited with my autistic son which I don't make a big deal of, I do not expect society to make special allowances for my family just because my son is autistic but whether they realised or not, we were placed on a lane far away from everyone else and he was able to jump, dance, run in circles, crawl on the floor and nobody cared! It was such an incredible experience for him and I can't ever be grateful enough for the way that place is set up. The management of Riverside bowl deserve major praise for the culture they have going in there, its a real hub of our wirral community. Thank you Riverside bowl!!
Had a lovely visit at Riverside Bowl after 3.5/4 years. It has great facilities, bowling, LaserQuest, bar, arcade, diner and pool! . An outdoor beer garden, a lovely bar and a great variety of food to have. I would definitely go back again.
Only came in to Riverside bar for lunch, waited about half hour just for my cup of tea. Which when came was not what was ordered. Asked about our lunch and staff said food was on way. My dessert arrived first which was only warm, then my chips which were lukewarm. Commented to staff and was told the kitchen was busy. My granddaughter had a meal and her food was hot. When I got my pot of tea. There was hardly a cup of tea in it. Generally very poor service and food not appetising because cold
Overall experience is fantastic, more than 5 stars. As an autistic group myself autistic without mentioning, we were greeted lovely by eve and the team. Despite a confusion to the start due to our part, the team was so helpful and understanding. i also noticed that other customers who came after us were set on lanes away from our group, not sure if it was intentional but it was something i noticed and it was very much welcomed. we will surely be going back again, primarily because the customer service. So thank you Eve, and the team. - kyle
