I recently visited the River Island store, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the store was clean and organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. But what really made my shopping trip exceptional was the staff, particularly one member, Clarissa. What stood out to me the most was how patient and attentive Clarissa was. I had a lot of items to purchase, and she took the time to carefully scan, fold, and pack all of my bags. She even asked me how my day was going, making me feel like a valued customer. Overall, my experience at the River Island store was fantastic thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by Clarissa. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great shopping experience. I will definitely be returning to this store, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for stylish and affordable clothing, as well as excellent customer service. Thank you, Clarissa, for your outstanding service!
This store has some pretty nice stuff in it, but it’s a really slow at the registers. In my case I had to repack the jacket I’d purchased as the hapless sales clerk couldn’t have more screwed it up into the bag. Changing rooms are excellent, many and spacious.
The guy who served us was really nice and had a fantastic customer service. However my daughter had to try her clothes first before I buy them but member of staff came down to rush me out of kids changing room because other customers a lady wanted to use men’s changing room, which I found very strange bcoz this river island has 3floors. I ended buying all the clothes that my daughter tried on so I was not just wasting my time. Other than that it’s beautiful store. well organised.
The store has a great variety of wallets, purses, shoulder bags and the like. Although the collection is great, it would be appreciated if the wallets are kept in an orderly manner and not look like just dumped. It really sets the mood off while shopping when it is scattered all over the place. Staff could be a bit friendly.
Nice clothes decent quality but sales associate are not approachable and friendly especially in a tourist area. Customer service is priority. Staff needs proper training.
A very arrogant cash desk guy. Handbag was priced at £40 and he wanted to charge me £42. I kept insisting that all the bags on display were £40 and his reply was ‘on our system is £42 and I have no control on our system’ what the hell??? Well who is it mine?!?? He also insulted me as soon as I was leaving. Next time I suggest you should have said it straight to my face rather than behind my back in a low tone voice.
Oxford St store. Generally the staff was ok apart from one guy who shouted across at me saying if I finished with the shoes as apparantly I dropped them, this was in the mens section, there were many on the floor already and the ones I dropped I picked up well they fell off the hanger as I picked them up as they were so heavy. Anyway someone else was trying shoes on and left them there and I got the blame, I went upto him to tell him that it wasn't me and he just carried looking down at the shoes, I had to ask if he was listening to which he said yes and again blamed me for dropping the shoes. Very bad customer service by him, I felt he was very rude for shouting across in front of other staff and customers, and not speaking to me or looking at me when I went upto him.
I know the shop is busy but is that a reason to deliver that poor customer service? First I asked one person working in the shop where is one item she showed me by finger ok maybe she couldn’t walk with me fine, the item wasn’t there. I went to till and the lady said she doesn’t know if they have it and can’t I see she is serving someone else? Really? As minimum be nice to people! You don’t care about sale ok fine but at least be nice. So upsetting as I love that brand
My phone was STOLEN FROM INSIDE THE STORE and none of the staff helped at all. They were so nonchalant about it, seemed like it happens IN THE STORE on such a regular basis that they don't even care or take any security measures. Please beware about visiting the store. The staff behaviour is not at all helpful. So rude!
Abeeha and Laura were great help when I visited the shop yesterday evening. They were very friendly and helped me pick out a suit for a wedding I’m attending.
