Very good cothing store but if you need larger sizes not the place to go
Went in with my partner the other day and spent over £200, then returned 2 days later to get more outfits, there was Only one nice polite staff member there.. others made us feel uncomfortable and if we didn't really want some of the clothes out of there would have taken my business else where... I took my 16 day old baby out of her buggy as she was a bit wittery and was actually asked by a member of staff why I had taken her out, like it was any of her buisness I then tried some clothes on in the changing room and she then stood there taking one item on and off the coat hanger just so she could see what was going on, I wouldnt have minded if we looked like shoplifters but we was both dressed in the river island stuff we had bought 2 days prior, if I wanted to be judged I'd audition for the x factor.....
Went into pick an order up for my daughter, assistant was totally unhelpful, dont know what her name was, all I know was that she had disgraceful customer service. She had really bright pink shirt on & really really tight chequed trousers. Think she was only there for the wages nothing else. Hope she isn't the manager. No hope for the other members of staff if she was. Grimsby Freshney Place 09.03.20. Very unhappy
It's a beautiful place with nice items. Shame about their staff. Very complacent and un interested in customers service.
Love river island and their sales have such great reductions. Got some gorge clothes for a bargain literally half price. Also lovely kids wear instore too now

Situated within Freshney Place shopping centre, River Island is a great place to get high street fashion at a reasonable price. Womens, Mens and Childrens clothes, footwear and accessories are all under one roof. A well known brand fir many years now, iffering a full range of sizes, from petite to curvy, and everything in between. Whether it's clothes for work, daytime, party, that special occassion or even just cosying up in pyjamas, you'll be impressed with the selection. The staff are friendly and helpful.
It's a shop in Freshney place! It's nothing special. Limited stock and rear doors locked off for some bizarre reason? Possibly due to staffing or shop theft. Either way an inconvenience caused.
