I popped into the store to choose an outfit for my grandson who turned 1 today. I was unsure what top would look nice with the jeans I chose. I approached a young staff member who actually is the manager of the store called Levi. He was so helpful and very knowledgeable I ended up buying two tops instead. Thank you Levi for your help you certainly are a manager with your approach to customers needs are very much appreciated.
River Island store inside Touchwood Solihull Shopping Centre. It has men's, women's and children clothing sections. Staff is friendly. I like to come to this store as is not that busy as the one in the Bull Ring.
Womens downstairs. Men's upstairs. Children's upstairs.. Changing rooms available. An easy to use store. I found till service fast and acceptable. Found inside the shopping centre.
Ayesha served me in River island. She was approachable and helpful, we asked for additional sizes in items of clothing and she couldn’t be more helpful. She came to find us in the store to make sure we could find what we were looking for.
Upon my recent visit to the store on Saturday, I was appalled by the conduct of one of the members of management. I witnessed an altercation between a female manager and a customer with a young child. This individual came across highly unprofessional and rude during the interaction with said customer. I was shocked to see the aggressive manner that the customer was treated with by this member of management that should conduct themselves in a less childish way. It is a shame to see as it tarnishes the reputation of the rest of the employees.
I visited the Touchwood outlet today for an exchange, and I must say, the process was incredibly smooth and efficient. The gentleman assisting me was exceptionally kind and attentive, even though I didn't catch his name, he mentioned he is from South India. I wholeheartedly recommend River Island at Touchwood for their excellent service and experience.
Levi dealt with us on Saturday. What a beautiful young man. I had a problem, he went above and beyond to sort my problem out. A credit to River Island....thankyou!!!!!!
great range of mens clothing, staff are very attentive
Terrible experience at this solihull store, the manager was extremely aggressive when items were to be exchanged with Receipt and one tag but the the 2nd she made us stand and wait over 15 minutes while she checked cctv and then swung her arms around talking loudly till the point her mask fell down. She was asked to stand back a little and stop being so aggressive when another member of staff interrupted to say she was nit being aggressive. All in all a very bad experience
I've always gone passed this store, thought it was only for younger people. Was looking for a blouse for a suit I bought somewhere else. Couldnt find a blouse anywhere until I went into river island. Bought a most beautiful blouse. So many people have commented on it. Will defiantly be going in there to shop.
