My son started here a year ago and there has been some change in him.The coaching has been great he loves going and they have really helped build his confidence. Price is really reasonable you get so much more than other clubs for kids. My son has raved about it so much I've started going to the gym too the facilities are great as is the atmosphere in the gym. I couldn't recommend it enough.
Joined the beginners boxing class in May and Marc the coach was brilliant from the start. All other attendees were welcoming and friendly. Have since went to several of main classes and again always made to feel welcome training is fantastic. Great club and most definitely made to feel part of it from day 1
My daughter Evie has been attending rivals for the last 3/4 months and comes home from every session worked hard and enjoyed at the same time. The coaches put in the time and effort with all students also Very welcoming atmosphere. All round great club
If I could give 10 stars, I would. I can’t speak highly enough of the encouragement and positive attitude of the staff, coaches and fellow members of the gym. Initially our wee ones started the kids classes and it wasn’t long before I was wanting to join in on the action. However, I was a hesitant beginner, being acutely aware of my current levels of fitness and nervous to try something new. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Everyone has been so welcoming and encouraging. The ethos of the gym has motivated me to carry on and I genuinely really look forward to every single class now. I can’t express my gratitude for the way that the staff engage with our little ones. They have grown in confidence, fitness, and have found a love for a new sport. Brilliant team - thanks for all you do!
My 2 sons have been part of the gym for a while now and it has been great for them. The classes are well run and my boys have been encouraged to continually strive to achieve more in their overall fitness and kickboxing ability. The competitions and other activities are also a welcome addition to keep everyone involved. Hope to continue with Rivals as it continues to grow.
Been training at Rivals over a year and I can’t recommend them enough!! I know It’s always a bit daunting joining a new gym especially if it’s your first time in the sport or even just returning but these guys will look after you! They cater to all ages, all sizes all fitness levels and all backgrounds! Everyone is accepted here! Top class coaching from world champion fighters and skilled professionals! Training with a team of people who support you and keep you right!! A gym full of genuinely lovely people with each other’s best interest at heart!! I’m so glad I joined, only wish I done it sooner If you’re considering joining the team, they offer a complementary trial class so you can come in, see the set up they have and take part in a class of your choice! You won’t be disappointed!
Finally a gym that realises kids with additional needs want to learn as well ! Unbelievably great staff who teach kids in a way they understand without overwhelming them and helping them do their best. My daughter loves the boxing class on a Monday and always comes away in a great mood. Can’t rate them high enough, more gyms take note !
Over the years, I have trained at a variety of gyms but none can compare to being at my rivals. The coaching is at another level with everyone dedicated to helping each other improve without any egos getting in the way. It's a great atmosphere and I highly recommend it if you're looking for more than just a gym experience.
Enrolled my daughter Lucy 2 months ago at Rivals and its the best thing we've done, a great bunch of coaches who know how to encourage and motivate the kids. I have seen my daughters confidence reach new heights. She is making new friends, having fun and getting fit all in one. Outstanding team
Rivals gym is a great wee place. Plenty of classes for all ages. My daughter is 9 and learning kickboxing which she absolutely loves. The staff are all so helpful too.
