A firm favourite italian of ours. We recently visited here for my daughter's birthday. The staff were brilliant, especially with my 5 year old son who got to make his own pizza and who was then over the moon with the selection of ice cream toppings from the treasure chest! The staff also popped a candle on my daughter's dessert and sang her a Happy Birthday. The food was delicious and the service was fast. Would highly recommend to others and will certainly return in the future.
I am basing my review on my last few visits to Fiume. The food is good especially the Pizza Fiume - not the best I've ever had, but it isn't bad at all. The service is so-so - it has been very slow the past few times I've visited, despite the restaurant being fairly quiet. We also saw some tables that were seated after us, served before us. Also, some of the waiters sounded so miserable when dealing with our party/taking our orders The look of the restaurant is ok, could do with a bit of an update but it isn't a deal breaker. Overall, a 3 star rating from me - would bump up to a 4 if the service was better and some of the waiters sounded like they wanted to be there.
Food was lovely, I had a great night for a catch up with my mam, her friend and her daughter. The atmosphere was lovely and the waitress Daisy was so informative in giving us recommendations. She even went and asked the chef if it was possible to get the calamari on the sharing platter changed to extra of something else. She was a lovely pleasant girl and she regularly asked if we'd like anything else or when pur drinks had gone of we'd like another. Great service and we'll definitely come back for another occasion.
Went here for a catch up with a friend. Its the first time I've been here but won't be the last. The service was great and staff asked about allergies which was great to see. The food was delicious...I had meatballs to start and the chicken stuffed with nduja and mozzarella for main and omg it was amazing. Highly recommend. The only criticism is the steep stair to get up to the restaurant.
Went for lunch without reservation but we were still lucky to get seated within 5mins. I had pollo roma - good sized serving. The husband got a pizza - it was sooo good their pizza base is exceptional quality for the price. I gave 4stars only though as we had to chase up our starters halfway through our mains. But still very good food, reasonable prices and relaxing atmosphere.
Enjoyed it, staff very nice and food good. In particular the cod was delicious. Only problem was heating was broken and it's minus 4. Not their fault but it did take edge off atmosphere. Will definitely visit again when heating is fixed. ThanksFood: 4/5
Food and service always exceptional. Catered for peanut allergy with no problems.
Absolutely appalling. Went there for a works Christmas night out. Table was booked for 1930. Most of us had pre booked our meals. We didn’t get to sit at our booked table until an hour later. Didn’t have enough chairs, after being there for 2hours our mains we’re finally served. Apart from my daughters who had been forgotten about so she was left eating her meal on her own after everyone had finished. If you want to go to a fabulous Italian restaurant then try the Italian kitchen southwick. They put this place to shame.
Very disappointing the pasta dish had more grease in it than the burger. Service was tremendously slow, 45 minutes wait to be served food. Only good thing I can say is the staff are very friendly.
When booking asked if they were doing offers said yes as this was January it’s 50% off eat out to help out pizzas came bit under cooked could do with putting back in the oven. service was ok .no complaints with that just when the bill came it’s full price ? reply was that’s only Monday to Friday 50% off not weekends so why take a booking for a Saturday night hence the low score..
