Had a great meal here to celebrate a family birthday. We booked in advance but wouldn’t say it was necessary for a weekday, it was pretty quiet when we arrived and only got busier later on. Staff were lovely and mostly helpful, atmosphere was nice and it was a big menu. Enjoyed the dosa which we’d never had before, and we ordered multiple starters and smaller plates to share alongside a curry. Really enjoyed all the small plates but our chicken jaipuri was much hotter than we expected. A table next to us also said they were regulars but were really struggling with the spiciness of their food that day. Good to know it was out of the ordinary but a bit of a shock for us when we tried it! Tap water provided with the table and refilled regularly though which was great!
The food here was really good. Eye-wateringly good. I am not usually the biggest fan of really spicy food, we had the Jaipuri chicken which had a slow burn, meaning after 30 seconds my eyes started to water. It wasn't too hot in the mouth though.it is one of the less spicy dishesnWe spoke to the couple next to us and even they were saying the food is more spicy than usual.nOtherwise, it is a really nice atmosphere. They seemed to be a bit understaffed for how busy it got towards the end.nDefinitely can recommend trying it out
Food was good but it was not Chicken Bhuna, although it was good, Nans were both packed long time ago. Manchurian was very good. Delivery was late by 30 mins even when we placed the order around 4pm. will definitely order again.
We went for dinner to try a new place. We have drove past rishis many times. The look of the place has always attracted us but never found an opportunity to visit. We have tried it and it’s truly amazing. We will most definitely be back. The staff is lovely the food is delicious nothing else to add.
Fresh, fast and friendly.nnA nice stop for lunch on our 9km walknnLamb Saag had just the right level of spice to make it interesting.nnButter chicken nice and creamy.nnThe service was very friendly.nnPoppadoms were just average and at £1 each could have been fresher.nnSitting in the far back, the big skylights let in lovely natural light.
