"Pretty pink and white Prospero Lounge is on Bridge Street in the centre of Stratford, between Shakespeare’s Birthplace and the Swan Theatre. Our big windows along the front bring the light in to our rich interior; all peacock blue panelling, rich wallpaper and chandeliers stretching back inside. And, of course, there’s our mural of The Tempest behind the bar. We may not be the only establishment to reference Shakespeare in Stratford, but we may be the only one where you declaim “O brave new world, That has such people in’t!” as you walk through our door."

Located close to tourist attractions. A nice restaurant with clean environment and vibrant music. Staff are friendly, helpful and keep the restaurant clean. Toilets are clean and smell-less too. Food are tasty with good portion size.
Great vibe here. You can order and pay online, which makes the process easier, comfortable and faster. The decoration is great, the service was friendly. The food is nothing too special, but there are tiny twists in the recipes. A cherry in the BBQ sauce, or a really good lime flavour on the grilled chicken breast. Maybe the music is too loud for me, but there are situations when it is perfect. So give a chance to this place if you are in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Great vibe, attentive staff , good range of food and very dog friendly...our daughters corgi was very pampered with treats and a bowl of water. Well located on Bridge Street 3 minutes walk from Shakespeares Birthplace. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
Very friendly and professional from the start. Quality food at good prices. Lovely warm and cosy atmosphere. Staff all looked like they wanted to be there and were very attentive. Quirky decor with lots of pictures on the wall and a clever mix of odd tables and chairs.Food: 5/5
I was very impressed with this despite the mixed reviews. Had a brilliant breakfast of pancakes, poached eggs and some miami Shakur I believe it was called, which in Shakespeares words was UNREAL. Service very good great decor all around impressed.Food: 5/5
Separate vegan menu available here. If you check the QR code on the table, there are sometimes specials that won't be on the paper menu. Worth checking! Note: Dog-friendly throughout the restaurant. Walk in only unless it's a large group. At table ordering unless you have an allergy then order at the bar with a manager.
We tried this place for the first time as it was recommended by a work colleague. They do a Tapas Tuesday deal which is 3 plates and a glass of wine for £12.50. The food was really good and the staff were so friendly.
Lovely breakfast here. Local bacon & Sausages. With free range eggs you can’t go wrong.
I’ve been here once for dinner. Varied menu and friendly service. Food was good. My only criticism is that the restaurant is very noisy. Hard floor, wooden chairs, no carpets, no curtains so the sound of conversation from the many tables echoes and reverberates. It should be easy to put right and would improve the atmosphere enormously.
Fabulous interiors in an elegant stylish restaurant. I counted around 20 ornate chandeliers hanging in this large dining establishment. The rest of the decor almost takes you back to a bygone era. Service and food were excellent and the staff were friendly. Soon became very busy once we sat down for our breakfast. Even the loo had a bit of class about it. Highly recommended.
