Ripon Family DaynnSun was shining, the breeze was cool, the racing was superb! The garden racecourse was an absolutely fantastic day!
Lovely little course and fine friendly atmosphere, but the racing is terrible. A horse with absolutely no form won at 28/1 that was followed by an 11 year old winning. No matter what you know about racing, you just can't back them. Don't get a signal on your phone either. Good family day out but not for the racing purist
The sun was shining on the 28th May when I visited Ripon races for the first time which enhanced the attractiveness of this lovely course. An easy walk along the canal from Ripon centre and there's generous parking if arriving by car. I was in the paddock enclosure which had all the necessary facilities as well as live music. No problem getting on the rails or in the stand for viewing plus you could see the big screen and plenty of bookmakers about. A pleasant day spent at a well managed racecourse.
Went along to the races on July 18th. The whole experience on the day was wonderful. The staff very helpful. And we found it so easy to get into and out of the car park.
We Love coming here as we live just over the Road from the course. I was Celebrating my Visit to Buckingham palace and my 66th Birthday. We even made it into the Race card Thank you so Much. I always love it here as a social event. Thank you for the the staff for your hard work and Friendly approach to your fellow staff and the racegoers We will will be back again Pete & Estelle
