the 'hand made' Rio Rancho beef burger is one of the best things on the menu when it's available. highly recommended. I really wish they kept the place a little cleaner.

I went to Rio's Peri Peri in Croydon with high hopes, but unfortunately my taste buds were left feeling more like they had been through a war zone than a dining experience. The chicken was dry, the sauce was bland and the staff were about as friendly as a cactus. On top of that, the atmosphere was stuffy and the prices were through the roof. I would rather eat a shoe than go back to this joint.
The food was tasty, however the chicken was under cooked when I took the chicken back to show them that the chicken was raw inside the lady with glasses was making stupid excuses rather than willing to give me a fully cooked chicken.She was very rude and had no manners and was very argumentative. Did not accept the chicken was under cooked, it was red and had blood inside it. When another man came to apologise for her behaviour. In her language [which was Urdu] she said to the man "There is no point talking to these people, they will not understand", thinking I will not understand what she said to him. After I emphasised that the chicken was unsafe to eat and if they did not accept it was under cooked and unsafe to eat I will take a picture and report to the health and safety department. I WILL NEVER GO TO RIO'S AGAIN AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE SIMPLY BECAUSE THE CHICKEN IS NOT SAFE TO EAT!
They missed item all the time other than that food is perfect Just checked prices they increase prices too much also quality of food decrease on the name of cost of living they are taking a piss whole chicken 17.99 wow you can get more than 4 chicken and cook at home
Despite being a Piri Piri restaurant, I'd have to say Rios spicy southern fried chicken is hands down the best SFC in South London. Having tried many of their competitors non come close. Great team working there too!
Rios piri piri Croydon Great place for chicken lovers and grilled meat Simple place with casual seating space Ambiance - 3/5 Nothing much to talk about casual seating place with a seating space fr 40 odd. Ample enough lighting Food -4/5 The food in here is really good Tried the grilled chicken and chips The grilled chicken is marinated well and cooked to perfection The spices are just right The chips are fresh and crispy Then comes chicken rice Surprisingly this one is worth giving it a try The rice is steamed one with simple flavour added to it and grilled boneless chicken chunks and some gravy topped over The usp is the gravy topped over the chicken and rice this enhances the taste . Service - 4/5 The staff are polite and their service is quick too VFM 4/5 A sheer value for money and it’s a steal deal The prices are nominal are not too heavy on ones pocket Do give it a try .
One of the lady who wear the glasses she really don’t know how to deal with customer she is really manners less staff in your shop ever otherwise food was good
The piri piri grilled chicken is great. This place is great for takeout. Good value. The dining space is what you'd expect of a chicken shop.
Once again, the food is of unacceptable quality. It's that bad that I had to rewrite. The chicken fillet in the burger was so hard that you could kill a chicken with that, chips missing from the order. Rice looks like been cooked days ago with no flavour. Disgusted by this place. I'm leaving that one star for the Mayo and Ketchup. And top it all up....you have a piece of a bone in the chicken breast....Really....??
