Good snooker club, full sized tables with pool tables and darts available also. Bar selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with good selection of bar food available. Some good offers available - eg. 2 drinks and 2 hours table time for a set price. Annual membership is inexpensive at £5.
Friendly, helpful staff. Great choice of tables. Nice, central location. Only downside is the frequent crowd of people smoking at the entrance. The smoke drifts up the stairs, into the main hall which can be unpleasant.
Great snooker and pool hall. Been coming now a few months with friends and my lad. Good value and friendly staff.
Nice place lots of tables from American pool, English pool and snooker, with some good deals to make it nicely priced. Staff are friendly. Became a member and will be back
Been going years...not anymore..0 star if i could...staff are great as always...the guy who owns it though....shaf or whatever his name is...wow...what an obscene man he is. No sense of decency at all. I went with my 2 young kids and the staff let us play on the 9 foot snooker table. Went few weeks later they again let us play and said please be careful to which I said no worries. We played almost an hour when shaf or whatever his name is barges in with attitude saying you won't be playing here next time. I hardly reacted when he starting ranting on about how they are too young and should not be playing and can't reach the table they could and would not stop...he was so aggressive my kids were scared...I said to him ok fine but you should co ordinate better with your staff as they let us play...he could not handle that and became more aggressive saying I'm the boss.. then when I said but the staff should know the rules he said to me are you deaf...I said don't talk to me like that...he was in my face not accepting they made a mistake even once...reducing my kids to tears...what a horrible man he is...I will never be going back..I told him he does not deserve the place before leaving to which he shouted JUST GO....he has real anger issues...I dont dare think how he talks to other people...he loves telling people he is the boss...I feel for the staff putting up with such a man who can't even show a bit of manners in front of 6 year old.. ..im disgusted beyond words.
Very poor attitude of the front staff and the guy who is the boss an asian bloke, seems as he has an attitude and talks down to you. Very rude and unprofessional, it’s his club and if your face does not fit thats it. Regardless if your a good person or not, if he don’t like how you look, you will not be allowed in. Never go to this club again, snooker tables are poor and staff don’t want to know you, if your new and they are not friendly, all comes down to the boss. Go and check it out for yourself’s you will find out. This review is an honest review.
It's a fun clean and very relaxing place to shoot pool . Right in the heart of the city
Love Jaxx!!! Fantastic staff and great atmosphere. Lost many a Saturday afternoon there.
Friendly. Good value. Plenty of tables & options. Bar is good too, and menu has plenty to go at.
Incredibly good service lots of activities and the price is very cheap would definitely recommend
