Decent track, able to hold competitions here and the people at the local club are super friendly and welcoming.nnDuring the Peter Lee Memorial Open 07/04/2024 they seemed to be having a little trouble with the speakers as it sounding like they were playing the noise of galloping horses. Maybe this was a choice? Maybe it's a fault? Not sure!nnThe surrounds of the track are a little bit dirty, a club litter-picking day would not go amiss. But the stand is relatively clean.nnThe lady's loo is quite tight, especially the hand basins. There is a disabled loo with a slope so that is accessible, as is the lowest level in the stands. There is a tarmac path around the track, although there were several hurdles on it when I went during comp day.nnThe car park is of a decent size, but even on a cloudy day it is full from the athletics meet and it also serves the playing fields next door. I think it would be difficult to park at peak times and you would need to park on a nearby road.
Came here with my son for his athletics competition. It’s an above average facility compared to many others. As with many athletics stadiums the track is a bit tired and the toilet provision minimal but that’s basically par for the course with these kind of things.
Good facility. Nice track with plenty of spectator seating. There is lots of free parking.
Play equipment, paths and grass are always full of dogs mess and some play equipment doesn't work. There is free parking however it will get full quickly when there are events in the stadium.
Lovely area I've recently started taking my dogs, very nice big field, plenty of bins nearby too which reduces waste!
