This is a lovely and well maintained park. It's great for little kids... my 2 year old loved it. Nice cafe, too, and loads of open space. South Blyth Beach is just a few minutes' drive, which means we spent a good few hours here.
Fantastic little place. 2 parks with zip wire, multiple slides, swings. Loads of climbing activities. There was bouncy castle and a teacups ride you had to pay for these though The water jets were the favourite part. Endless fun if you get the weather like we did.
At this time of year the park is half closed. The water park obviously isn’t on and there isn’t much in the actual parks that are working. Needs maintenance desperately. My daughter went over on her ankle on the lifted tarmac in the smaller park. The gardens are still nice for a walk around. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs and owners enjoying the nice day
Great park for the kids, the water area the kids loved and kept clean, parks had stuff for young and older kids although some a little run down. Toilets reasonably clean.
Lovely wee park, with two play parks could do with a lick of paint and a small water park for the kids. Free parking, toilets and cafe. There was also an ice cream van when we were there and did great big ice creams! If you have a couple of kids like we do 7&3 then it's worth a visit!
Water play already open kids had great fun play ground for bigger kids and one for littler kids. Handy toilets plenty of picnic benches and area is dog friendly
Had a slow walk through the gardens in the park today. Beautiful flowers. From all colours of Roses, geraniums, begonias, petunias, hydrangeas and so many more. The place is so quiet too. It was a lovely walk. Really nice place. I'm aware there's a small cafe there selling homemade food but it wasn't open today.
I love this park. It's a shame there are dog owners who disrespect it so much. A nice walk with my little boy ruined when I had to clean dog muck from his shoes. Otherwise it has a lovely play park, and water park in the summer.
Very nice place to take your kids and family to spent sometime together.
Plenty of options here lovely walk, super play areas, lovely gardens lovely Cafe to eat &/or drink in.
