Visited Richer Sounds Chester with my Mum today and had a great experience. Her TV of 5 years had broken and she was given a credit note to the value after their repair team deemed it unfixable. Chris had the perfect opportunity to upsell to us as neither of us know anything about TVs but he was extremely honest and told us we'd picked a great option. No hassle, no pressure, he kindly carried the TV to the car in the rain! and we were in and out within about 10 minutes. I will now never shop anywhere else for TV and sound equipment! Really impressed with service. Looking for a record deck and gave the guy our budget. They gave us lots of choices and did not try to push me above our budget. So refreshing to get great customer service. We will be going back in the future and stop using the larger retail brands.
Nice building and maintained shop floor, staff some what patronising. Went in with my son looking a bit scruffy after camping to buy my son a new HiFi system, was ignored for a while but eventually was asked if I needed assistance. Explained that I am a HiFi nut and wanted to get my son his first high quality system. Was treated like I didn't know what I was talking about and found the staff member a little up him self. I have a reference system in the 10s of thousands, but I was judged by the way I look. He seemed to have a shock when he put the system in my brand new electric Volvo, he kept stopping at knackered old cars ready to put it in the boot. Don't judge a book by its cover, I will be going to the Stockport branch from now on as they treat you like a human being.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff who don't push you into buying things you don't need. They listen to what you're looking for and try and help you achieve it.
My go-to shop for all my audio visual needs. The staff have loads of experience and knowledge. The prices are very good to.
My mum needed a new TV due to the JVC one she had being shocking. Rang up Richer sounds knowing the one I wanted her to get the placed a reserve on it for me and we went and picked it up, super easy process, friendly staff & no hard sell on insurance or anytning, Whole process took 5 mins. My mum appreciates that sort of service.
6 year extended warranty - rang regarding the remote control for my LG television not working properly had it 3 years new remote control delivered to my home address within 5 days ! excellent service, understanding and always courteous
