Richard and David photographed our wedding in December 2022 and they did a brilliant job! They were both very discreet, professional and pleasant to work with. We aren’t naturals in front of the cameras but they both made us feel at ease and helped guide our couple and family portraits. We’ve only seen our preview photos from our wedding day so far but I trust that the rest will be of a similar quality. Every single person who has seen our photos has commented about the emotion in them before anything else. The day went by in a blur but so many reminded us of what we were thinking at certain points throughout the day. They truly document events and a whole range of different emotions. I still can’t stop looking at them and so many are favourites. Every single one has a number of stunning elements, whether it’s a look, an expressive face or really cool light. When we were choosing a photographer, I loved that Richard had a distinct style and thread running throughout all his photos yet each couple’s photos captured a different vibe: of their wedding day and them as a couple. It was also the light in Richard’s photos which made us choose him. I hadn’t seen these things done so well as I had with Richard. We also weren’t interested in anything trendy and the timeless quality of his photography really appealed to us. We didn’t care about this and would have waited for Richard to create beautiful photos but his turnaround time is very quick – which might be important to some. We had a fairly big selection of preview photos in a matter of days, which was nice when we were still basking in the afterglow. As well as being talented, Richard is also just a lovely guy. We're so glad we chose Richard as our wedding photographer. He was very professional but also made us feel very relaxed on the day. His pictures are natural rather than posed, and we absolutely love them. We would highly recommend him.
Richard was really easy to get on with from the start. We spoke about what we wanted for our special day and Richard took everything on board and made some useful suggestions! As a photographer we really didn't notice him on our wedding day in a good way! which meant we were relaxed and were really happy with all the "in-the-moment" shots. Our final album was wonderful and Richard has been so helpful with all our extra little requests and queries. Would highly recommend for a photographer who captures very natural, unposed shots. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Richard. The experience in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself was great. He's very professional and pleasant; a very nice guy. We couldn't be happier with the photos and our album. Richard's documentary style means the end result looked brilliant; we've had so many compliments about how beautiful the photos are.
Richard gave us the most beautiful memories of our day, knew exactly how to capture the moments and we hardly even noticed he was there!! From the first time we met Richard we just knew he was the man for the job. We loved his documentary style of photography rather than the posed shots, meaning everyone could just relax and enjoy themselves and the results are amazing. We are so pleased with our album, plus all the photos on disk, not to mention the lovely surprise of a slide show which we could access whilst we were away on our honeymoon...it was just perfect and gave us such pleasure to look back on the day and remember it all over again. If we had it all to do over again, we'd do exactly the same and would happily recommend Richard for your special day.
Richard and David have given us truly stunning images from our wedding, the day went in a flash, but the happy memories will be kept alive by their wonderful portrayal of the whole occasion as it unfolded. We arrived back from honeymoon 10 days after the wedding to have our proofs and a slideshow already waiting, which was such a lovely welcome home. We had wonderful feedback not only about their photos but also for the professional manner in which they were taken. They were not invasive, and very considerate of everyone around and blended in with the guests- so well in fact some people had to ask whether we in fact had a professional photographer in which we replied we had two! In the process of choosing the final prints for our album Richard was very helpful and patient with us especially as we took a while! It was easy and stress free with comments for any changes to the album quick and easy. I would highly recommend Richard and David to anyone looking for wedding photographers that they can trust to capture and portray the day.
From day one Richard was fantastic! Professional but easy going and an absolute pleasure to work with. He was also brilliant to have there with us throughout our wedding day, he had a wonderful unassuming but strong presence and we're so glad we were able to work with him. On that note, the pictures were AMAZING! They have brought tears to quite a few eyes and he captured the day exactly how we had hoped - we are thrilled!
