A peaceful place by the lake where you can spend half a day with the family. There's a nice children play area to keep the kids occupied. The miniature train is amazing for a fun ride and has been maintained very well. A tiny museum to go with it where the old models are still kept. We all felt one ride was too short but the tickets aren't that expensive either. So no complaints there. We paid just over £15 for 3 adults and 3 kids.nAfter the ride we had a picnic by the lake side and the weather was amazing. So, overall and amazing day.
During a recent visit to Rhyl, we decided to have a trip on the miniature railway at Rhyl Marine Lake. We didn't book our tickets in advance and there wasn't a big queue when we arrived. The tickets cost £3 for an adult. On the day we visited, there was a steam train ,which was really exciting. The staff are really friendly and clearly love their work. The train does one lap of the marine lake, which takes about 15 minutes. It's about 1 mile distance, apparently. We certainly enjoyed our ride.nThere's also a little visitors centre and gift shop and there are free toilets .nIf you're in Rhyl and the weather is good, definitely go for a ride on the miniature railway . Kids will really love it.
A nice miniature railway that runs around a lake. The train ride lasted around 15 minutes or so but there’s a little museum at the station where kids can sit on a train a play with the controls. There’s a small park next to it too which is suitable for young and older children. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Great little train. Kids loved it. Nice shop, the hot chocolate was well nice and reasonably priced too.
Fantastic little railway full of charm running around the local marine lake. The kids loved riding on the locomotive they didn’t want to leave
