Whatever time of year you visit there is always something new to admire and enjoy here. The gardens are beautifully designed and maintained, with each season providing it's own unique plants, flowers and trees. There are frequent sculpture exhibits lining the trail which are in harmony with the surroundings in their theme and in the way they are displayed. The cafe serves a lovely selection of hot and cold food, coffees, teas and bottled alcoholic beverages. Before leaving, the well stocked plant and gift shops are well worth visiting, too. Annual membership means frequent return visits throughout the year are possible and you are supporting the RHS' work as well. Just perfect.
This was my first RHS garden experience and I have come away feeling inspired and refreshed following our visit yesterday! So many beautiful areas to explore, and something for all the family to enjoy! We had a delicious lunch in the restaurant and although it was expensive, it tasted delicious. The staff were all helpful and made us feel welcome. The photographic opportunities were endless, and there was something beautiful around every corner. Will be returning! Picnic area: Ample areas to have a picnic! Benches are located throughout the site.
What an amazing garden. Everything is so beautifully designed and implemented. Very kind staff and extremely clean toilets even on this sunny Sunday with quite some visitors. We have enjoyed a lot of different types of gardens and we couldn’t even see everything because the area is so large. We also enjoyed those small robins birds, which came very near just to get some easy food. Fortunately, their shape was okay, otherwise it would be a pity for the birds getting the wrong diet. So, I really recommend RHS Garden Rosemoor!!
First time visiting Rosemoor with our RHS members card, we had a lovely day exploring the gardens. The grounds looked very well maintained with lots of beautiful flowers and details. We had a cold drink in the main cafe. Staff were friendly and the toilets were clean.
The gardens are stunning whenever you visit. The restaurant has now reopened and now offers table service. The food is excellent and portion sizes are huge. If you are not big eaters probably better to order a sandwich or jacket potato between you. Prices seem on the high side but considering the portion sizes are good value.
Having visited most of the RHS gardens I consider Rosemoor to be the best, stunning displays and so much to see allow yourself plenty of time, the woodland walks are peaceful. The cafes are very popular and serve a good range of food but for a more substantial meal the refurbished restaurant is very nice and offers an outside seating area, as happens so often at RHS restaurants the wait time for the food can be long especially at busy lunch times, waited 40 minutes for main course that aside the food was excellent. The plant centre is excellent and offers a huge selection of plants/shrubs.
Amazing gardens set in lovely Devon countryside. Pleanty to see and do so allow time be prepared for some hill walking! Various refreshment cafes situated around the site with the garden centre at front. Staff as always friendly and helpful.
Great place to walk around and get inspiration! Disabled friendly and accessible, you can lose the best part of a day here no problem. On site catering good, but on the pricey side so consider bringing your own snacks if on a budget.
Always a pleasure to stop here on route to Cornwall. Not a huge amount has changed since our last visit but we were blessed with a beautifully sunny day which made the visit even more special. Don't drive by, take a break it's worth it, toilets and refreshments are available as well as stretching your legs.
RHS Rosemoor is probably my favourite and most inspiring garden of all time, it has everything you could want. I particularly enjoyed the Cool and Hot gardens and they have completely changed my approach to the design and planting of my own garden. Since my visit while on holiday in August 2021, I can't get enough red, orange and purple flowers in to my scheme. The garden is generally a great joy to visit and just like any of the RHS gardens, there's always pleanty to see and do, no matter what the season. Visit any time of year to enjoy and be inspired by what nature has to show you.
