Visited during the Glow event when the gardens are beautifully lit. Plenty of parking and entered quickly. Needs to be pre-booked. Plenty to see during the walk round. Clean facilities and gift shop at the end. Thoroughly enjoyed it and a wonderful place to visit during the festive season. Highly recommend.
Fantastic RHS Garden with a Betty’s Tea Room, Gift Shop and Garden Centre. Beautiful grounds with something colourful and spectacular for every season. Tropical garden added in 2020 which was still looking fairly good at the end of November. New area being worked on in November 2020, just as you enter the garden.
Love this place, any season it’s just beautiful. So happy they’ve managed to stay open during the lockdowns we’ve had. Great for kids too and there is always a little activity for them to do when walking around. Garden centre is well stocked too.
Wonderful Glow event... sold out evenings, but festive lights come on at 3pm, so you can benefit during the afternoon too!
Very pleasant experience. Covid safe. Mobility friendly. Busy crowds well directed. Will be less frought when kids back at school. Betty's Tea Room very popular. Plant shop on site. Lack of formal rose garden slightly disappointing but plans are afoot to remedy this.
Such a beautiful, peaceful escape from the world. Just enjoy the colours and the bird song. Even a bit of rain can't spoil it!

Visited Harlow Carr garden for the winter 'Glow' lights. Beautiful illuminated trees and shrubs with wicker animals also lit up. Well marshaled and not crowded. A great evening stroll through the gardens.
