The old town of Rhodes is excellent. You are living in history with knights and Kings and feel the stories of the periods .

The old town is something to behold... A great piece of preserved history.. Some very nice, well sourced restaurants amongst the standard tourist traps... But if you avoid the places with food pics outside your pretty good

1. Lindos 2. Charaki for dinner 3. Lardos also for dinner 4. Archangelos - pleasant and unpretentious locals seem to live three whereas Lindos feels orchestrated 5. Old Town Rhodes - overrated yet worth spending a short afternoon there - avoid the “must see” beaches and you’ll have equally great beaches to yourself

Very nice place to spend holiday I recommend

Short trip to Rhodes. It offers various activities like boat trips, cycling, swimming and sightseeing. Suggest it for maximum 5 days. It is beautiful but packed with mass tourists. Discover the castle, old town, the bays and enjoy great food.

Rhodos city is, except for the old town, nothing special and not nice at all. In many places, the air smells painfully sweet like deep-frying fat, which can quickly become unpleasant. Even on the windy west side, you can't get the smell out of your nose that quickly. The majority of people provide minimal service, flexibility is mostly a foreign word. For the few positive exceptions one star, for the old town the second.

Great and unexpected gem for us travelling all around the world. Check all my other reviews around the island. Our top 5 places: 1. Paralia Prasonisiou 2. Old city of Rhodes but get lost from known streets and visit public market. 3. Archangelos Cave next to Grande Blue. Still hidden gem 4. Profitis ilias" Monastery 5. Kallithea Springs We have been during low season so expericne may vary : there is no uber and bolt in 2021. But car rental is a must. Cheap and easy. Nowhere in the world I have seen car rentals with such good rating.

One of my favourite places to visit with stunning views, beaches, seas and culture. Sunny days and beautiful nights where visits to the acropolis and Lindos are a must. Friendly locals, great food, wines and Greek sweets adda final touch to a brilliant island.

Absolutely amazing place

We loved the island of Rhodes very much. It really has an unspoiled history and artifacts. A beautiful island with beautiful people.
