Visited to watch an amateur production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and had a wonderful time. Nice clean venue with very helpful staff. Parking on road nearby isn't easy but there is a car park next to the location but you have to pay.

One of the many  hearts of leisure and tourism in Rhayader, run by freedom leisure, supported by powys county council, the leisure centre offers many facilities, as well as swimming there are squash courts, gym, changing facilities, open upper area to watch swimming, wait, have a drink or snack, a large hall for many activities and a lower room that is used for many more activities, it's an amazing building with a great management team.

Good facilities, excellent, helpful staff.only negative is it is a little pricey for a council run facility-- but nevertheless staff and facilities are as already stated  Excellent.

I don't like gyms, I react to them same way vampires react to sunlight but Julie was brilliant and sold it to me really well and offered to show me around - even though there must have only been a couple of staff members at most and she clearly had a thousand jobs going on.nBravo Julie, always friendly and helpful, and bravo Rhayader LC, will stay a member!
