My girlfriend and I tried to visit the bar with a group of about 20, she was singled out as too drunk to enter but as a matter of fact had only one glass of wine before hand as she is not a big drinker. As the rest of our party stumbled in and many other people in questionalable condition entered the bar she was denied entry. We were told come back again in 10 minutes and she would be let in because the "manager" singled her out as too drunk. Besides our better judgment we accepted this and we returned in 20 minutes for entry, we were again denied by the same door staff. My girlfriend is of partial jamician decent and is dark skinned, I believe it is because of this we were singled out. They even asked her to walk in a straight line as people with white skin stumbled in without question, again besides our better judgement she yeilded to the request and walked a perfect straight line but was still denied entry. Bottom line is my girlfriend and I have been together for over 5 years and this is the first time I have ever felt we experienced racism.
