Me and my friend had a fantastic experience at this bar, enjoying a cocktail each on the 2 for 1 offer! The bar is heavily lit up and features the neat addition of frames on the wall, as well as the logo. The service was fast, staff were friendly and cleanliness had been maintained, even in the toilets impressively!
No my sort of pub. Couldn't sit in the main area because we weren't eating. Happy hour cocktails attracted us in. Wanted 4 cocktails for £20 but Couldn't have 4 different ones. 2 for £10 has to be the same cocktail. Drinks area seating was not comfortable for disabled people.
Went for happy hour just for drinks . Told we couldn’t sit in certain areas even though it wasn’t busy, We wanted to have different cocktails as a treat but had to order 2 the same , ladies toilets downstairs but mens on same floor . A guy did come up to us and offer help but we had to go to the bar and order drinks. Wouldn’t take cash . Cocktails were ok . Only had the 2 as were made to feel unwelcome. No won’t be going again !
Last time I was in this place was 4yrs ago for a cocktail master class which was an absolute blast if they still do these I'd highly recommend it. This time I was there with the other half celebrating 3yrs and 1mth being together. If I'm completely honest I wasn't expecting much from them food wise but boy was I pleasantly surprised. We started with tempura prawns, garlic bread and corn dogs as we had never had these before. Loved the fact the garlic bread was presented with a pizza cutter Prawns were good and we really liked the corn dogs. Mains I had the crispy chicken wrap with some skinny fries .. really enjoyed this the chicken was tender and tasty and the wrap was stuffed to bursting. He had the blue cheese and truffle beef burger which came with fries and a strange gravy, he wolfed it down so I'd safely say it was tasty Desserts I had the so smoreish cookie with marshmallows, ice-cream and Nutella .. it was bloody lovey but sadly I was defeated by it as much as I'd loved to have finished it I was just too full. He had the Clementine and chocolate torte which he managed to finish and said it was very good too Service was quick, food was hot and staff were fantastic
Staff were lovely. Went for bottomless brunch advertised as 2 hours on the site got 90 mins but didn't raise it as an issue as a few drinks where unavailable so I was limited to one choice so we were ready to go. Pizza was gorgeous, mother in laws brunch was cold but she still enjoyed it. Wouldn't reccomend bottomless. I feel like revs is in its prime in the evening for happy hour, food and night life.
Had a lovely afternoon tea here. The food and the cocktails were amazing. Would definitely go again.
Great place for a night out especially if it's your birthday
Fabulous time, came for food and drinks but the cocktails were so good by the bar tender so we stayed on those, i feel awful I can’t remember the names but the manager, bar staff and our waitress were fantastic. Honestly amazing service! They honestly made our day, would return just for the staff on this occasion. Thank you so much for our experience!! And again sorry I can’t remember your names but we came 07/01/23 so thank you guys so much x
So disappointed with Revolution. It has been a bit disappointing each time we have been recently but this visit was the worst. We went on Christmas Eve at lunchtime and the place wasn't too busy, but it took ages to give our order. Then the food came and it was just awful. To be fair, one of us had a small Margherita pizza and that was ok, but the other four in the party weren't happy - cold food, fatty bacon etc., We had to hunt for someone to pay the bill at the end too because no one came. We felt really let down - it has been a Christmas Eve tradition for us to go there for lunch but I don't think we will bother again.
Ignorant bar staff. Stood waiting patiently to be served but totally ignored ɓy the bar staff. If you were a young female you got served straight away. . Not the first time this has happened here won't be going back. There were only a few people in the place so can't even make allowances for it being busy?
