Only good thing about it was close to airport to get away from it. Arrived late from a flight with 2 very tired kids to get told very rudely by the man at reception we weren't booked in. One big mix up between easyjet and the hotel but anyway I had to pay over the odds for a night and they only had a double bed to share between all four of us 2 adults and 2 kids. Embarrassing!!
Such poor customer service booked a room had confirmation letter that we could cancel with full payment retuned. Sadly due to family death had to cancel the room and they would not refund the monies, they were rude very unhelpful and I would highly recommend you do not book with this hotel
Reigate Manor seems to be a once great hotel that has become dilapidated over the years. The whole place just feels tired and somber; in particular the rooms are not great. There's no atmosphere throughout the place. The staff are generally nice though, there's ample parking, and if you need somewhere to stay near Reigate there just aren't many other choices.
Pleasant Hotel in Reigate I have stayed twice at the Reigate manor hotel. The rooms are fine, they are clean, have a desk, TV, en suite bathrooms, TV, and tea/coffee facilities but are probably at a point where they will need to be updated soon. If your room is at the front of the hotel overlooking the road I would take ear plugs as the road noise is very clear in the room, so much so I thought the window was open. The hotel has a bar, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers 24 hour room service just sandwiches after a certain time It is about a 10 minute walk into Reigate if you want to check the town out or go elsewhere for food. All in all I would stay here again
AWUFUL. This is a reception room, not a hotel. Don't expect to actually SLEEP there. VERY LOUD microphone all evening for a lottery for very old people and probably deaf who are retired and don't care about waking up early in the morning. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. The staff is very nice and friendly and that's why there is one star and not 0. AVOID AT ALL COST. I contacted the very nice lady of the reception who was sorry for me but could not really do anything about it. After that, the staff was having music and I had to call again reception to ask them to put the volume down. Maybe rooms in the other aisle are more comfortable, but Room 410 is a nightmare.
Do not go here for an event... they do not cater to alternative diet requirements. Over priced meal and was served a bowl of roasted vegetables as a vegan main then a bowl of fruit for dessert- seriously in this day and age its disgusting. Even the local supermarkets have better dessert selections for vegans without the old throwing a fruit bowl in front of them!
Really lovely hotel. I stay in a lot of Premier Inns and Travelodges for work. I attended my friends surprise 30th birthday party with my wife and it was lovely to stay in a good, warm welcoming establishment. The service and staff were impeccable. The rooms were really nice with comfortable beds and the food was excellent. Great choice of beers and wines too. Lots of free parking. They hold event nights and we are seriously considering returning soon.
Celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary at the Manor and was pleased with the service and attention that we all received, the staff were professional but friendly, it was a great experience
We were married at Reigate Manor last year during covid restrictions and visited again recently for our first anniversary. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms are lovely and the staff so attentive. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel and very good food.Rooms: 4/5
Staff are fantastic! Lovely breakfast service this morning. Huge decent breakfast too. Place is a little dated now inside the rooms, but fine for me to wait a night for my flight. 15 minute walk down the hill into Reigate for bars and restaurants.
