My mum passed away on the 27th of December, it’s now the 5th of January and they still haven’t registered her death. Really hard to get things moving with the funeral plans when they won’t even provide us with a death certificate. Absolutely shocking service. Dan is about as empathetic as a plank of wood.
Can't get birthlines from here anymore, need to order online and wait up to 25 days so if you're starting work and don't have a passport then I'd get on that. Also guy on the phone when I asked why said thats just the way it is, OK thanks for your help Phil Collins
Absolutely shocking service from John Street. A family member passed away early December , we have been laughed at and humiliated by a member of staff, we have been told to "keep your card handy as your certificate needs paid for" and now, today 23/12 we have received the death certificate in post IN A CONGRATULATIONS ON YOIR WEDDING DAY CARD!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING APPALLING UPSETTING AND DOWN RIGHT DISRESPECTFUL. THIS IS NOT THE LAST YOU WILL HEAR FROM US, WE ARE TAKING THIS FURTHER. YOU HAVE CAUSED MORE PAIN AND UPSET TO OUR FAMILY IN AN ALREADY VERY DIFFICULT SITUATION.
This place is really weird, they are slow, aggressive, impatient, and they have communication issues. The funny thing is they have some posters about encouraging positive behavior. Yet, they treated people in a bad way! They really need to work on them selves. I pray I don't gave to deal with them again.
I wasn't actually here per se but was outside where there's some quite stunning architecture see my pics. This is part of Glasgow City Hall which in my opinion isn't that great from the front but has some breathtaking columns behind dating from Glasgows past as the 2nd city of the Empire and the wealth created by engineering excellence of the city's entrepreneurs. The downside of this was the squalor and slums which were an unseemly byproduct of the rapid industrialisation, causing countless social problems in the years since.
I went there for my newborn birth registration and found them efficient and helpful.
Fantastic service! Efficient, friendly and really professional. Ian W in particular was brilliant.
first class service from all staff - no complaints!
Very helpful people with the social distance.
Very efficient people
