It was my first experience of New Regent. My boyfriend saw that a lil pick me up was needed, so got a reservation for 9pm, we were very economical and organised a little quicker than we thought, got to New Regent 30 mins before, asked if we could be seated earlier, luckily there were a couple of cancellations so we sat near the window and there was a large office party in attendance in the inner part of the restaurant, I read the instructions of how it works and we started to order drinks and food, the members of staff were so lovely and having to run the restaurant and the delivery side too, communication was flowing naturally in the team. Would recommend the restaurant, great value for the quality of the food, we practically nearly ate all of the dishes with some that were similar in the starters section. Look forward to going back.
First visit in many years with family. Went for the "all you can eat" option. Had about 8 starter dishes we prefer starters and three mains with rice and noodles between the three of us. Decent portions and overall good quality. We weren't keen on the beef curry main but the crispy shredded beef was lovely. Good value. Parking: No parking at the restaurant but there's a surface car park directly opposite which is free in the evenings.
2nd visit in 6 months and nothing has changed. Food above average quality for the price, although the duck was very dry on this occasion. The place is let down by haphazard service and very dated and decor. Yet again we will return!Food: 4/5

One of the worst meals I’ve ever ordered. Bland. Tepid and over 50 minutes late. Rang the restaurant 108 times before finally getting through to speak to somebody. Will never be ordering again.
Great restaurant and service. All you can eat buffet is reasonable with plenty of options. Will go back.
Rang through order at 5.20 last night Friday said it should get to 6 Brill so looking forward to this order for 4 people rang at 6.20 to find out wher my delivery was they said should be with me in 5 mims didn't mind waited and waited rang back at 6.45 pm said driver would be at my address in 2 mins still no takeaway rang back at 7 pm to find out where my takeaway was they rang the driver to ask where it was and nobody had any idea where and what I had ordered in the end we had to go down fish plus to get tea in the end and all they could say if we order tonight they would give me a 20% discount was a disgrace
