I was recommended this place from an install 6-7 years ago. Our experience was bad. Our sales rep turned up 1 1/2 hours late with no phone call. Then the installers turned up 2 hours late. Even though I stayed home from work as long as I could. Then took over a month to sort the wrong positioning of cupboard and no shelves or handles. I had to call them so many times. Would never use this company ever again
Professional service and helpful staff. Was great to be able to look at products in a show room. Measuring and installation ran smoothly with staff turning up exactly when they promised. Really happy with result and would recommend them.
I'm having the same experience as everyone else it seems. Zero communication from them once they have your money for their leaky products. It shows how little they care for their customers - all these negative reviews over such a long period of time and they do nothing about it. It is actually hard to understand how a company which has such poor products and utterly terrible customer service can still be in business.
We have had occasion to use Regency, on 2 occasions recently for a variety of products , our first contact on three occasions was , Alexis , it was refreshing to deal with a retail sales person who is very knowledgeable regarding the products we were seeking, and on one occasion referred us to John for some install tradesman type advice, and he to was also very competent and supplied us with what we required without any hassle at all , and our latest visit last week we dealt with John on the phone and at the showroom we dealt with the amazing. Alexis John was busy with other things, Alexis was very helpful, pleasant attitude to her job, and nothing was a trouble, next day John followed us up to make sure all was good, Off course it was, Alexis sorted it we have no hesitation in recommending Regency
Worst customer service ever. Been waiting months for them to do a warranty job. Left several messages as noone answers the phone but no return call. I'll be letting the bathroom renovator know not to use this company for other clients
I had an appointment for quote on a new wardrobe last Friday between 8 -9am. No one showed. I left a message an an answering service to confirm the appointment but still waiting for a return call. It's now Monday. Wasted half of a day
So frustrated with this company. Our builder used Regency to install our wardrobes and shelving. The quality is poor, within months the shelving was bowed and not level. We contacted them via our builder in Jan when we discovered the wardrobes were coming off the wall, pulling holes in the plaster. It took Regency several months to turn up and inspect the problems. They agreed to repair and replace, but it took 5mths after measuring to book in an installation date. Then they stuffed up the dates and we had to shuffle our plans to ensure it could be done. Emptied out 4 wardrobes today only to get a text message 15min before they were due to arrive, cancelling the appointment. No phone call, no offer to reschedule. All we want is to be able to hang up our clothes and 10 mths since first lodging a complaint, we are still waiting. Nobody answers their phone or returns calls. Its their shoddy work we need fixed. I can only hope Department of Fair Trading can help because I am over it. We have an existing claim lodged with the dept including the wardrobes. Regency, you need to do better or close up shop. This is a disgrace.
Had a lady come to our home to measure and quote, she was very helpful and friendly at this stage and this is where the service stopped. I had to chase up our quote after waiting for 5 days, and it was sent the following day. I took a little while to reply, and in my email I apologised for that, and asked a heap of questions and also saying I hadn’t been followed up and was surprised by that. As I work in sales, I know the importance of a follow up. She replied saying she followed me up and left a message but I check my messages and she definitely did not call - no need to lie, just own it. She asked if we had been to the showroom to look which I had already told her in person that we had and didn’t answer any of my questions. I then replied explaining we had already looked at the showroom if she could reply letting us know how we can lower the cost a little. I have not heard anything back and it has been 3 weeks. Absolutely terrible service, makes us feel as though are job isn’t big enough, but as I said I work in sales and MONEY IS MONEY. Should you use these guys for your robes? No, go somewhere that makes you feel like your job is important. Regency Cardiff definitely don’t do this.
Very poor quality, company organisation and communication. Regency has come to measure, install and fix our shower screen 8 times. Poor communication for when they were attending and had to chase myself. On occasion at the time they were meant to arrive received a phone call to say the parts just weren't in the van. Very poor fit initially on install day, remeasured and then installed, panel was scratched and needed replacement. Then it leaked! Definitely wouldn't think a shower screen would need 8 house calls for measure and install. The Operations Manager then advised me that the company has lost money on this job, definitely not the customer's fault! We paid good money. Manager won't answer or return direct phone calls now! My suggestion would be to seek other options!
Do not, whatever you do, use this company to instal anything. Cheap, bad workmanship is followed up with even worse customer service. We waited five and a half weeks for our shower screen to be fixed, under warranty. Two weeks later, the same shower door broke. Five more weeks and dozens of phone calls and empty promises- ‘we guarantee we’ll be there after lunch tomorrow’, it remains unrepaired. They simply don’t deserve your business. 1/5 is a high rating for how bad Regency are. Update: the shower screen broke for a third time in three months and this time Regency were straight onto it, with their production manager Scott ringing me and arranging for the doors to be collected and fixed in the factory the next day. I think this response shows willingness and better customer service and I would therefore up my rating for Regency.
