Got drawn in by the signs locally about a swan sanctuary. 

Although the brown signs balished close by. I figured it out and pulled in. 

Unfortunately the rain came so we didn't visit the sanctuary but we had lunch and my lemon pepper chicken salad was great. Chicken was fantastic but the actual salad could have been more substantial. 

I had a latte and pretty sure it came from a machine from the way the froth sat. But I can't confirm it. 

Staff were very nice and a pleasure to be around. 

I'll be going back for the sanctuary when the weather is better.

Lovely Garden Centre fantastic range of plants and trees. Stayed for a coffee and toasted tea cake great service delicious food. We will definitely call again.

This garden centre is like a mini shopping  centre.. Lots of plants trees & shrubs. Also sell cards,& gifts,   Good coffee shop too. They have a swan sanctuary too.

Not the cheapest garden centre, but very helpful staff and thery honour their commitment to replace poorly performing plants if you bring issues to their attention. Well stocked, with huge variations and a very nice shop with gift and home ideas. Nice restaurant too, with inside and outside seating.

Taylor's has a good and wide range of plants for sale and, though not a gardener myself, my parents, who are, swear by it.
They also have a wide range of related products in their indoor shops including garden furniture and, depending on the season, an amazingly diverse range of Christmas decorations.
They have a nice eatery which isn't cheap but a lot of people were eating Christmas lunch on our visit. I'd heartily recommend the scones if you just want a snack!
