The appeal of this wonderful venue is that the seating smells like my old school bus. It just has buckets of character. Bliss. Just seen that the last showing there after 80 odd years will be on 28th of Feb 2019
A wonderful cinema, celebrating it's 80th birthday this weekend. Join them to celebrate, it'll be a great event.
Was in screen 3. Bit dusty seats have seen better days and not much leg room and I'm only 6'1". Picture was great and sound very good. Apart from the discomfort not a bad experience.
Such a good cinema. Would highly recommend. Although sadly is showing its last viewing on Thursday. Will be sad to see it go.
It's an old style cinema that's why is good to visit it. The seats were good. There are plenty space. The toilettes were clean. It was easy to collect the tickets I booked online. I didn't like the sticky floor in the room and 20 min of advertising.
Amazing place loads of history shame it's closed down. Managed to go into before it did and take some photos. So would like to thank the staff for that.

Film spoilt as too cold in auditorium heating needed especially in such cold weather. I know it will be closing soon but so sad to see it in such a state of disrepair! Remember going when a youngster to see films and bands was a beautiful place back then in the sixties.
