Screen one, was super hot, never been to a cinema and sauna at the same time. Think I lost 2 stone in weight. Screen was smaller then my TV at home. It probably shrunk because of the heat. There is mold on the ceiling and the seats are ripped to pieces, looks like a horror film, unless you want to scare your kids to death and like the silent hill look, this place is for you. And just to top it off, it smelt like an old grandma's house. Luckily it was a special deal on the tickets otherwise I would of asked for my money back as the sweat pouring off me made me feel like I just finished swimming for the Olympics. Won't be coming back here again as I can't afford to loose any more weight. Would not recommend this cinema to anyone else. Now I will be busy getting the lice out of hair thanks to the ichty chairs, thanks the reel.
When we arrived to watch Inside Out 2, the staff here were very friendly and helpful. I love this cinema as it still takes cash, which is a massive relief for people who find it easier to use cash rather than card payment. The popcorn here was very nice, and I really enjoyed coming here. As for the film, this was an amazing movie. I cried twice as well. I could watch it all over again. I loved the part when Embarassment spoke. I was so happy!! Sadness was amazing and showed such courage, and omg There are no more words to describe how amazing this was!!
Go there quite a lot as it's just up the road. Great local cinema, screens are a decent size and sound good. The price is amazing! Easily £10/£12 cheaper than the big name cinemas. The only thing that needs improving is... when you buy tickets online, you have to wait in the queue where other ppl are buying tickets and food, it can sometimes take ages to get it scanned. Would be better if there was a separate queue for online tickets.
Tickets here are very cheap by today's standards, but you get what you pay for. The screen and the sound aren't great, I've actually left after some action movies thinking I'll want to watch them again at home with a better sound set up. Seats are comfortable enough. There's parking but it's very cramped so it's best to get there early. Despite refurbs it still looks very dated, but for an old timer like me, that adds nostalgic value.
No disabled car parking. Car park in general very small and full of pot holes. I am in a wheelchair. Step up to entrance, however they eventually brought a ramp. They sold us tickets, asked us where we wanted to sit, and sold us food and drinks told ustto go through. All the time they could see me sitting in my wheelchair and saw me wheel myself through, excited to see the film. My friend turned back and informed me that there were steps to climb and that we'd better find a lift... You guessed it no lift! OK disappointed but what's on the other screens? Sorry no disabled access to those either except for one of them but it's out of action at the moment!!! Yes, we got all our money back but No we will Not be going there again Such a shame I was trying to to support a small local business /franchise that has been there since as long as I can remember!!
Beautiful little cinema. Staff great. Much cheaper than the big cinemas. We need to keep these little cinemas going. Great value when it's a family of 4.
Went to watch inside out 2, comfy seats, nice and clean. And bless a member of staff I didn’t catch her name but she had blonde hair and cleaned the screen after us was nice and polite
Lovely old fashioned feel to the place - refreshments- Great Choice - they have a few leaks that need sorting which left a slight damp smell - hopefully they can find the funds to rectify an otherwise lovely traditional cinema.
I really enjoyed my visit here and first time impression is this is a authentic 'original' type cinema. It is strange initially walking up and how the stairway is in between a really massive room. Perfect place to watch Blade Runner 2049 [2017] and well worth for treating friend or partner. Watching the Beetlejuice was great here large screen
Friendly staff and great prices. Had a problem with the straws that come with there drinks. Chemical taste! So i take my own things for me and the kids now.
