I have awarded at least one star because at the end of the day they sold my property for a good price. However 5 months from selling the property I am still yet to receive any contact from them to say ‘thank you for your business’ or ‘I hope you are settled in your new place’. This is a very money hungry estate agent, who push you into making rash decisions. They got a grump on a few times when I declined less than asking price offers which ment creating more work for them. The limited contact was pushy and rude at times. In the end I spoke with my buyer through email as he was also receiving limited or no contact from the estate agent. On the day of completion I had to meet the buyer stood outside their shop in Haxby and give him the keys myself through lack of organisation. 

If you want an estate agent to sell your property, by all means use these. If you want an estate agent to sell your property, offer great customer service and make house buying and selling as stress free as possible - go elsewhere.

Thank you to everyone at Reed Rains in Haxby. They were great in dealing with the sale of my mother's house. Very understanding of her needs and timescale. Tony, Karen and the team were professional from beginning to end and very helpful with keeping the transaction moving.

Just purchased house in Eastfield Ave by best and final offer, and have to say that Clare handled the sale very professionally. She gave no clues at all where to pitch my bid even though mine would have been the last one in. Bad for me, good for the vendor! I was also impressed with the way the manager kept in contact by email with everybody involved in the chain, buyers sellers and solicitors.

Emma was absolutely amazing! She did absolutely everything she could do to get us the sale of our house! 100% using Emma again I really couldnt recommend her enough after everything she has done for us we dont know how we could thank you! Sorry its been a while coming Emma but hopefully were getting the keys soon! Thankyou for everything, we'l be in touch for you to come round once its done for champagne!!! Thankyou for everything!
