Good repair to cosmetics but forgot the mechanical side of things following no fault insurance claim with Ageas, car now needs to go into jaguar/landrover as faults on dash board are popping up like Christmas tree lights. Major issues with suspension from side impact. We have had to suffer £240 for new tyres due to Alan reed not doing due diligence! We did not ask there insured driver to jump a red light at 4:30 in the morning?nnMick has been great in peterlee, but Shildon rushed this out….not impressed at all as it’s cost me thousands in lost revenue as I’m self employed due to trying to sort this out. Owner doesn’t respond to calls? Quick to call to explain why tyres have run bare in 2 weeks from receiving car back though! Really Michael didn’t have these problems in July prior to crash and following MOT.nnI’m not sure they understand what I do for living! I’m a structural repair specialist that puts 10 year insurance backed guarantees on our work.nn*****nnI have since had a convertaion with Michael the director and he has assured me they are taking the actions required.nnUnfortunatly i have lost faith in the insurers AGEAS as i feel they have rushed this through based on a cost perspective.nnTime will tell on this and i have advised Michael that jaguar/landrover descesion is not final as we have our own mechanics who can look a matter of concern.nnHopefully this will get sorted out sonner rather than later.nnI will soon be charging AGEAS for my time @ £250.00 an hour.nnHe underatnds and will be in touch in due course.
Have used Alan Reed for many years, would never go anywhere else. Always a superb job, friendly and helpful. Honest in their assessments. After some work, car was ready for sale, dealer offered over the reserve making it an easy sell, highly recommend this company.
Our Ford Fiesta was damaged whilst parked up, our insurer had Alan Reeds pick our car up to complete a full damage report and they completed the full repairs to a very high standard, its like having a brand new car again. Just had my classic Jaguar XK8 to have some important work to bring it back to concours ! Absolutely amazing results, great people and their attention to detail is amazing ! Have another car in for remedial stuff and looking forward to seeing this work completed too.nState of the art workshops, approved repairer for many major manufacturers, and now i know why !
No one likes having to have repairs carried out, but I’ve got to say this is the best experience I could ask for. I was kept updated with my repair, given a courtesy car, and received amazing customer service all around. The repair process was quick and a top job. Would recommend to anyone!
