My stay at Redwings was OK. The room was ideal for me and my partner. It was quiet, despite we was just off the main road of a can get busy high street. The price was good value considering the location we were in. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Loved the shower very powerful spray. The toilet tissue dispenser I found annoying. Had to pull out lots of tissue to get a decent amount to use due to the tissue paper being of poor quality. There was, looked to be, too me some black mould in the corner of the shower cubicle and I found someone else's body hair in bathroom. Other than that, the room was fairly clean and tidy. I asked for extra pillows and was provided with extra pillows. I would consider staying again if I were to revisit the area again.
Had a great stay here, was here for 2 nights. Joy on reception was really helpful and has just the best smile. Rooms are great, clean and the bed is soooo comfortable. Also had the best shower I’ve had in a long time. Great pressure and hot water. Defo stay here again.
Great hotel if you want cheap n cheerful with good rooms. The bedroom was not cleaned and looked dirty. Bed was good and comfortable
Had a lovely stay here, park in the carpark on the other side of Saracens head and put your number into the hotels computer.nThe staff are wonderful, very friendly and pleasant. They were very welcoming with our dog too.nThe whole hotel from what I seen was very clean and had a nice smell about it.nThe room was a good size and so were the beds. Hairdryer, kettle, towels, hand/shower soap and tea/coffee included.nThe room was very warm until 6am and then when I turned the heater on it didn't take long to warm up.nWe were on the ground floor next to the car park and it was very quiet.nThere is a massive park 2 minute walk away also plus loads of shops.nI paid for late check out so I took advantage of having a good shop.nn**the only bad point that let this down was the bathroom, had mould in the shower area and no one bothered to try and clean it, I know they have a lot of customers but it needs regrouting or a good clean.nWhere the extractor fan is there was what I thought was mould on the wall but it could of been dust. Where the shower glass fit to the wall there is a gap where there is loads of cobwebs/dust... I thought there were hairs in the sink but it was hair line cracks in the sink. The shower head dirty, an old toothbrush and bleach would of solved all these issues..nThe hotel needs to use toilet rolls and not the little individual wafer thin sheets you give to use..nBesides this we had a great stay and would highly recommend it to others.nThankyou for the experience
The place is very nice, all staff are friendly, the manager Joy always bring us happiness when we were there, receptionist girls Abby and Eva , always helpful at anytime and very friendly, definitely a place to recommend.
