This is a big beach and the tide goes out a very long way. The Wind Machines dominate the view so it depends on your view of this whether you like it or not.
Very lovely beach not too cold, I even got in first time in 16 years i found a UK beach with a moderate temperature.nThe city itself has lots of old houses which makes the place itself to look rough, but beach itself is great. It was not too busy and had lots of places to park. Very near to where we were, we found a very nice park for children.
Very nice beach, great for bird watching, a nice promenade to walk along and little fountains children can splash in at summer, parking all along the front, not overpriced, and plenty of ice cream shops and fish n chips.
Fabulous clean beach, goes on for miles! Dog friendly but seasonal restrictions apply at certain parts of the year. Very kid friendly too. Great walk to Marske and Saltburn, you'll earn an ice-cream at the end of that walk though!
English seaside town with newly rebuilt cinema, the Regent. Lots of scattered seating along the Broadwalk. The Lemon top ice cream still as good as I remember.
